Oh, yeah? Well yippie-yi-o-ki-yay to you, too
I always pulled for the Indians...
Except when 'F Troop' was on that is, because THEN, the white guys were the underdogs.
:-)
Strangely enough, I could have sworn I saw Luke McCahan walking around the Babylon 5 space station the other day.

Excellent link - thanks. I thought that I had written Kathleen's article when she worked in the cheeseburger - apropoh(sp?) of what, I'm not exactly sure. May it's cause the cheeseburger is considered to be a food group by most Texans.

Mo, I saw that article yesterday and it made me angry.
The press needs to decide what path they want to follow. If blame is the game then let them get it right and stop all the hand wringing, finger pointing and whining. By all means, Yes, blame the guy at the top. These attacks were conceived, given birth and came to maturity under Clinton's administration. Position, policy, attitude and tone all filter down from the top. Cabinet members and department heads acted or failed to act on terrorist and the threat they represented based on Clinton's failed policies and negligence not GWB's. 9-11 could have been thwarted in 1993 after the first WTC bombing, or after Khobar (sp) Towers, or the embassy bombings or after the attack on the USS Cole. The list is long, tragic and clear.
There is a very good analysis about this in NRO today by Mark Levin. Who Blew It ?

No, but when they perfect the hydraulic actuated, full-body 'sensation' suit, and MEMS based retinal projection wearable display to go with it, then call me.
Phooey on VIRTUAL reality, just give me some tactile false reality for a while.

Thanks for the NRO link. Congress is about to wear me out with all their posturing and posing and pious pontificating. Those fat bastards don't have the sense to come in from the rain, much less to legislate.
It's time to go back to the ten rules for living given to Moses, and start all over. And while we're at, I wouldn't at all mind going back to 1776 and starting afresh. /rant

"But averring that Bush is a cowboy is like saying he's an honorable man whose word is his bond. Whoa, that hurts. "
Hehehehe. Cowboys and cheeseburgers are among my favorite things. :) OTOH, I was never much of a fan of indians, they scared me half to death. LOL Except Pocohantas. LOL.

F-Troop?! Confess - you are really 48 years old, aren't you?

Phooey on VIRTUAL reality, just give me some tactile false reality for a while. Sorry to burst your engineering bubble, but boob jobs were the thread topic a couple of nights ago, and you missed it.
To: lodwick
Good on ya, loddy. Amen to that.

New York City to buy nearly 300 voting machines ... from six rural counties in GeorgiaYou listening, Mo? (smartassednewyawkers get skinned by redneck crackers)

Working? FR seemed to have slowed to a crawl for a few minutes there....

Maybe the New Yorkers paid for them with strings of pretty beads.

"But averring that Bush is a cowboy is like saying he's an honorable man whose word is his bond. Whoa, that hurts. " Would that that were true. It is going to take one hell of a convincing story to get me to accept the global warming report they sent to the UN. I am leaning towards 'all politicians are the same, screw em all' and walking away from all of it. From the NY Times article:
A government official familiar with the new report said that it had been under review at the White House from January until mid-April, but that few substantive changes were made.
This didn't slip through the cracks, it walked through the front door. It is criminally stupid and probably the work of Carl Rove, the Republican party's Dick Morris.

When agents identify terrorists engaged in plotting attacks against western nations, they need to kill them. use them to track down everyone in their cell, and related cells, then kill them all. That's inteligence...

Has anybody else been listening to Rush today?? Just now he was talking about some Rat headed commission, with Boxer and Feinstein as head Rats in charge, that are screening potential judicial nominees and have it set up so that the white house does not even get to see whose names are being looked at, but only the ones that survive the RatCom screening procedure and only THOSE pre-approved by this commission can be put before the Senate by Bush for a vote??? Supposedly this was part of some kind of pre-agreemant. That was the gist of it. Any comments? I was in and out of the car, but that was the part I heard. Surely they can't get away with that....can they??

Confess - you are really 48 years old, aren't you?
F Troop stopped filming in 1967. I was raised watching re-runs of F Troop, Wild Wild West, and Star Trek...
Does that explain why I want to have a shootout with Dr. Loveless Swervie using phasers, on shuttlecraft, somewhere over Fort Courage??

"It's time to go back to the ten rules for living given to Moses, and start all over. And while we're at, I wouldn't at all mind going back to 1776 and starting afresh" I nominate Loddy for Senate.....sssshhhhhh; don't tell anybody I don't live in Texas.
