This is our first warm day, we are in shorts and enjoying the greenery....icebergs are becoming a distant memory.

Nice to see you too, sl. It has been beautiful here today with warm sun and cool breezes. I've been doing a little shopping and gardening today. I also cleaned the rifle as the BIG bear made another appearance night before last and was checking out the porch until I turned the outside light on.

Maybe he/she missed you when you were goneMaybe. A lady who lives over the hill was walking her two dogs the other day when they ran off down the hill and started to bark furiously. She walked over to look down the hill and was suddenly confronted with the bear headed straight for her. It was being chased by the dogs. Upon seeing her the bear stopped in its tracks, so abruptly that the nearest dog ran into the bear who promptly swatted it away. The bear then turned 90 degrees and ran away. If it was the same one who visited me night before last it is a big bear.
