Is there an Al Capone dollie, complete with Thompson machine gun and fedora hat?
To: palo verde
The old Columbo's are good as well, at least when A&E began showing them a few yrs back, but the best is Sherlock Holmes, with Jeremy Brett :-)

I have to go exercise and do some chores, so i'll chat later.Nice pic of star Antares today :-)

I am not sure...but the hubby will be bringing a gravestone rubbing from Al Capones grave...as for a dolly of old Al, thats a hard one...I have an old Babe Ruth cloth dolly, that my mom once got at a flea market, many, many years ago...

The Murder She Wrote programs will be on here beginning at 1pm...of course I am on Pacific Time, and then I have a Satellite, so cannot tell you what time they will be on in your neck of the woods, and dont know if you are on an aerial, cable, or Satellite...these programs are on AandE, so you need to check your local listing for what ever means you use to get your TV reception...

I love all the old Columbos as well, especially when he shows up with his basset hound 'Dog'...poor animal, Columbo never can decide on a name to give him, so just calls him 'Dog'...but that basset just kills me, and Columbo seems to love him so...spoils him rotten, feeds him ice cream cones, takes him for walks to the ocean side, takes him with him in the car, whenever he is on a case...
I also like Sherlock Holmes, tho my favorites are the old ones with Basil Rathbone...but Jeremy Brett is wonderful also...

We met Chrissy and Bill for lunch yesterday and had a blast. They are wonderful people. Chrissy is such a little cutie. We got talking and the time just flew by. I'm so glad we had the chance to meet them.

This is from knickknackvillage.com
They didn't have any GangsterDolls
but they had Al's model gangsta car
You may have to create your Al doll.
Sweetness, it's good to know that the new book is better reading for you. Don't forget to check out Louis - he's a fav of mine.
Do you know Elmore Leonard? He can spin a yarn and make you laugh with his dialogue - great novelist. bbs

;-) I don't know about 39 steps, but I think Mom might consider the Dolly 12Step Program.
Glad you like the new dolly site, Mom, I hope the quality is as good as that pic made it appear to be. Have fun. JL

Yes, that was a pretty dolly that Loddy picked...I really went through that site, and found a number of dollies, that would look quite nice here in my house...
I am not sure why I love dollies so much...even as a kid, I was doll crazy...had tons and tons of dolls as a little girl...sure wish I still had some of them...
Then when I had kids, I had hoped to have a girl...well, as you see I got my two great boys...
But when Michael was 1 1/2yrs old, he used to play with dolls in the nursery during church....he called them his 'babies'...so that year for Christmas, it was my great pleasure to buy him two dolls, as he seemed to love dolls so...he carried those two dolls around with him everywhere....then about six months later, he bashed their heads in with his trucks...and that was the end of his dollies...but for a time, he sure loved his babies...
Maybe part of the reason, I so love my dolls now, is because I had just boys, who loved their trucks, and cars, and guns, and rubber spiders, snakes and bugs, and all manner of what is considered boy things...
So, even tho I have always loved dolls, from a small girl upwards, perhaps having just boys, made me find an excuse for being dolly crazy...
Or perhaps I am just crazy anyway...ah well, I do enjoy myself...
