At this point, I'm not really northern anymore, nor am I totally southern. I'm bilingual. ;)

We spent 2 weeks in Phoenix during May a few years back. It was like living in an oven. I was very happy to return to the green, shady coolness of Virginia.

Have to do some work. :( BBL, I hope.

I'm having all kinds of ISP glitches today, so don't go dispatching me now ;-)The mouse gets all sticky and scrolling won't work at all, so maybe its a line problem.I hope it isn't a bug.Chances are I won't be online much then today, so that should relieve Grannie!!lol...I think Kathleen wil like her new tree, as they are gorgeous, especially in the Fall.Have a great trip Chrissy :-)

May is too warm to be strolling 'round Phoenix or Tucson
they used to shut the resorts here May thru October
cause no one in their right mind visits during those months
our intense heat doesn't leave till week after Halloween
and the first few years I was here, it hit 100° and stayed there early on in April
our summers have been ''not as bad'' recently
Last summer was crummy in whole different way
we never got our cool refreshin' rain
worse we had humidity all summer, so it didn't cool down at night
what makes desert summers bearable, is instant total relief when Sun goes down
oki and I are desert rats, so we are used to it

I have finally made it back...spent yesterday just relaxing my brain, sleeping and smooching with Dizzy...also went onto ebay, and got caught into a dollie frenzy(There were too many good buys)...I have resolved to stay off of ebay for one week...I spent a good deal of my bankroll, and am now trying to show some restraint...would like to have a little money left when the hubby returns(so that he wont think I am such a dolly shopaholic)...

He took a rather large bankroll with him to Chicago, as he usually does, but he always returns with lots of money...I dont want him to put me to shame...

I am with Westy here, about our weather...occasionally my furnace also kicks in here, and yet its almost Memorial Day....but I dont like to freeze, so if the heat comes on, so be it...

Glad to see that Lulu is wiggly waggly...means she is happy...I had a roasty beef sandwich yesterday for lunch, and of course, I thought of Lulu and Happy, and their roasty beef parties...

I think I got it fixed.It was a memory problem related to the index.dat file on the Temporary Internet Files.I did also clean the mouseball just to make sure.Filthy!!lol

Loddy.. thank you for telling me that.. I found it the same way after all that work.. I got them to show for me by arrowing back a couple times. See if it works for you.. It comes and goes.. I don't understand it at all..

not bad, since he's only been gone one day
of course you're takin' a day off from shoppin', you're recuperating from yesterday's binge experience

so I asked to be bought buffet lunch at chinese restaurant on way back from pool
(there isn't any food in house)
somehow Lulu and Happy got it all, all that's left over are the greenbeans and the eggrolls
