Loddy thanks.. I gave up doing my pics.. It would have taken $80 in zip disks.. I am leaving them on the old box and taking it to a guy up the street and for $100 he'll put anything I want off the old one on cd's.. That's the way I'm going at this point.. I guess I'm on 5.5 or 6.0.. It would be interesting to see if Palo see's them .. She can check on Netscape and Explorer..

Will the guy come to your home and do the deed? If not be sure to lay the computers flat, so nothing falls out. I screwed up one machine by standing it upright on the way back from the shop and a memory stick somehow came out.
I have way too many adventures with my machines. ;-)

Hi Gran, I can't see anything but red x's, I am running Explorer. But maybe it's me because I'm having an awful time trying to access FR today altogether.
Everything I touch today seems to act flukey. My oven turned itself off while I was baking my cake. I had to add to the baking time and check carefully be sure it was done. Thankfully it's not a layer cake, so I can fix the damages with frosting. :)
Palo, I am a Cancer (moon child) I am supposed to be naturally domestic. rotfl

make that: to be sure it was done. Obviously my typing is off today, too. :)

Afternoon. I guess Christine & Bill should be on their way by now. They're really looking forward to this trip, and all the old friends, family, and new aquaintances to see back east.

Hi, Gran. I have Explorer and get red x's even after I click back and come back to your page again.

Hi Loddy, I believe that Chrissy and Bill should be landing about 6 pm Eastern. We are looking forward to meeting them after all this time. :)
I'm bringing a paper bag on Saturday so I can put it over my head the second Chrissy takes out her camera. :) ;)
To: Kathleen
;-) Have a super time.

Hi all.. I was back a long time before FR... Things are going well so far.. I love this baby... Of course I haven't run into all the conflicts yet concerning all my software.. I'll face that tomorrow or....
To: palo verde;Kathleen;christine11;lodwick
I guess that's what I get for writing while having a cracker of a migraine, again. Maybe I should stay in a permanent state of impending cranial collapse while writing.... Hmmm... Pardons, I'll be right back.
*After a few minutes of a date with a two-by-four. While giving a hockey player grin.*
As I write this, I am having trouble catching my breath. I have espied a most magnificent creature, only to have it turn around and almost catch me! I am not sure what it was, or was supposed to be. But it was marvelous to look at in form and beauty. It had a coat of iridescent hair that shimmered in the reddish sunlight. Four footed, with ivory cat-like claws and an oddly shaped head. I cannot decide whether it was elk like or antelope like. And it sang! But it was most unfriendly.
I apologise for my absence. Last night, I could have sworn I heard someone speaking outside my makeshift hut. Sounded almost like a social of some sort. When I looked outside, I could see nothing. Yet I distinctly remember hearing laughter. How passing odd. This is the forty-fifth day of my imprisonment. The plants here have large berries that are rather palatable.

pb and honey sandwich (the power of suggestion)! hehe Hmmmmmmmm....

I want to hear about your conflicts at home, not with the software ;-)
To: habs4ever
No conflicts at home.. Well, maybe a little touchy today with all this upset with the puter.. lol Now everything is under control for awhile.. I still have to discover what this thing can do.. I've been setting up online things.. It was a synch to put on.. Everything right on the screen to follow.. Nice feature for us dummies..

he spent all day writing email on his yahoo email
I was able to save one of them, the rest got lost
seems when you get knocked offline when you're on yahoo, the email isn't there when you return
you have to sign in
we went thru this last time
I planned when he wrote his long letter back to Rusty, to set up diff system for him
but he didn't want to bother me
so he spent 3 hours working on the letter, and now it's lost
I really like yahoo IM
but I don't know what to think bout rest of yahoo services
love, palo
To: grannie9
your new puter sounds nice, cookie
seems like the more advanced they get, the easier they make it for us
