But I bet you can picture 'Rough Trade' as able to deal with Barney Frankfurter... I'd spend the money to watch that on pay-per-view.

Had a rocker of a quake down here about an hour ago...5.8 mag., about 50 miles south of where I'm sitting. No reports of damage.
To: Cuttnhorse
Oh, Cuttnhorse, Tell me you're home and not up in the mountains. Is it stilling snowing where you are ?
To: Cuttnhorse
I noticed that there was a 5.2 earthquake last night off the coast of Chile. Hang on to your glassware. Something's trying to break loose.
There's been a cluster of quakes ranging from 4.1 to 5.2 in Indonesia last night, too.... about 5 of them. It's very volcanic there.... It makes sense that if there is strong activity on one edge of a plate - there will be energy rocking the opposite edge (or another weak spot along the edge) in reaction.

NEIC recent earthquakes. You can see horsie's quake data and all the quakes happening in the Talaud Islands, too. Very busy quake period.
To: Cuttnhorse
It's so weird that I checked out the quake page this morning -- usually I don't do that. I saw the quake on West Chile Rise and started to write a message to you here asking about the quake - then I clicked on it and saw it was way off the coast, so I didn't post it. I was almost prophetic.
To: Cuttnhorse
The quake today in western Brazil was at almost the same longitude as your quake ... are you cracking up?
To: ValerieUSA
Great link Valerie - thanks.
Afternoon Cuttn - take good care that Chile doesn't slide off the map.

Hey - the Talaud Islnd quakes look to be connected by waves to the area where horsie's quake was
Theoretical P-Wave Travel Times - just have to adjust the theory a tad....
