They care only because no one likes to be yelled at or caught in their lies. Other than that, they don't care.
Are you trying to tell us that YOUR kids do NOT care what their MOTHER thinks of them??
That goes way beyond teeny boppers wanting to catch a buzz.
To: ValerieUSA
Drugs = liberty
Love = trap
Are you sure you are not USING those bongs that you said you threw out??
To: lodwick
I don't believe that goverment has any right to be in my bedroom, my doctor's office, my church or my property unless it's there to put out a fire or drag off a robber's dead body. Why just a robber's dead body? Why not the dead body of anyone you find inconvenient? Shouldn't the gov't drag off those dead bodies, too, out of homes and clinics?
To: gratefulwharffratt
"Wanting to catch a buzz" may describe a user who started in his late teens or twenties -- it does not describe a user who started at age 12..... for whatever reason.

I don't want to kill other humans -- abortionists do. But you would rather that they have power to kill because they are not dangerous like I am.
WRONG.
I do not think it is the Government's place to tell a woman how she should treat her own body.
The TRAGEDY, is that women would WANT an abortion. It is also a tragedy that a Doctor would perform an abortion.
But it is not the Government's place to intervene.
Life according to Valerie:
1- See a problem.
2- Decide if issue is good or bad.
3- if good do nothing. If I think it is bad, kill anybody who thinks otherwise, using the power of the government to do it, regardless of what the Constitution says.

Why does it need safe-keeping, Brother Ratt?
Because there are always forces of evil afoot. I won't become unsaved, but I might be vulnerable to thinking that I am better than others, or capable of judging them.
Or vulnerable to any other things that might happen if I start to think like a pharisee.
To: gratefulwharffratt
There is no room for justice in government?
To: lodwick
I don't believe that goverment has any right to be in my bedroom, my doctor's office, my church or my property unless it's there to put out a fire or drag off a robber's dead body. And they don't have the right to establish their stupid public schools and tax my ass to death to pay for them.
I agree. And ANYTHING over and above those things, are abuses of power.
To: gratefulwharffratt
I'm just saying it is not realistic today
Then you've already given up. No I have not given up on anything .. I am just being realistic
I can raise my girls to be the best that they can be but I would have to be an idiot to think they won't shove all that I taught them in the closet in their teenage years to hang out with their friends and getting stoned out of their minds

Are you trying to say that robbery is deserving of death, but killing a helpless unborn baby is a right?
To: ValerieUSA
I don't use "religion" to advocate my control over people. I just said there is competition for the hearts of people. If we can outlaw murder of adults and children, surely we can outlaw murder of innocent babies?
Isn't 'Thou shalt not kill' ALREADY one of the 10 commandments??
If so, then why do you need ANOTHER governmentally enforced law, since murder is already illegal??
To: ValerieUSA
Do you think that open drug use won't lead to an increase in drug use, and in prostitution and child neglect and infant mortality? Sounds like the natural way to eliminate the unfit from the gene pool...
To: Mo1
No I have not given up on anything .. I am just being realistic
Well then, I guess you counseled the Israelites to stop at the old Red Sea, and to wait to make a truce with the Egyptian army...
To: gratefulwharffratt
Murder of unborn children WAS illegal (back in the day when great great great grandma could legally get stoned on laudanum) until leftists on the court sided with laywers who lied and made it legal.

"You're a tramp, Nully.... a cheap funkling tramp.' He certainly is! Shameless....just shameless.
*SMOOTCH*

I've said nothing about abortion since I cannot have one.
Abortion should be the choice made between a woman and her God.
If I believe that government has no business in the church or doctor's office, it would be most hypocritical to try and place myself there don'cha think?

"Unfit"? Like your roommates? Is eliminating them from the gene pool a "solution"? Aborting their babies?
I would say no. But then I'm a dangerous Pharisee.

You act like there has to be a law preventing something before no one will stop doing it. You are the DEFINITION of a Collectivist, because you find the Individual INCAPABLE of doing ANYTHING without a FEDERAL LAW to guide their actions.
EVERYTHING NOT SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN THE CONSTITUTION, FALLS BACK TO THE INDIVIDUAL (THAT word again!!) STATES TO DECIDE.
