Wow. I really killed the conversation with that! *LOL*
I took all the kids for haircuts and bought groceries and no one here has said a word in that time.

Part of the problem too, is that parents are afraid to discipline their kids anymore. The slightest complaint from a kid anymore and you have DSS all over you, compliments of the wonderful public school system.

"I have been posting away back on the other thread"

I did that last time. Frustrating, especially if its a post that you put any thought and effort into.

Val, I didn't wear a bikini even when I could! Well, occasionally sunbathing in the back yard, but that's about it. And now....forget it!

"You are a SICK SICK SICK MAN!!!"

I wasn't gonna say it. I'm glad you did! That's as bad as Arafat in speedos! Sorry, I don't what came over me. For some reason I always think of those 2 as a set!

"It's just a "road tax". Nothing more, nothing less"

You are exactly right, Lynn. Traffic "violations" stopped being about safe driving a long time ago.

"wooden spoons are bought by the bushel basket"

Those unbreakable plastic paint paddles that they used to have at Sears worked the best. I don't know if they still use those or not.

"Best because the holes whistle?"

No, because they're nice and flexible and don't break. Wooden spoons and paddles break. The holes probably add to the sound effects though.

"Here you are funkling away like they're free for the taking..."

Evidently. It's not MY fault nobody was answering. That was a perfectly legitimate funkle.

Many of us had to leave, reflect on the sanctity of life, the miracle of childbirth, and get our tubes tied.

"and get our tubes tied."

You are at risk of getting pregnant Loddy? Does Mrs. Lodwick know about this?
