That's one of my projects for next year, learning Spanish.Good luck, if you are going to learn Spanish in a year, my sombrero is off to you. If you are young...say under the age of about 15, you can probably do it. As people grow older the little part of the brain that is receptive to languages switches off...and learning languages becomes a real effort.
I wish you well.

It depends on who you're trying to heat up... shouldn't take too long in that #13 "outfit."

Thawing take a while doesn't it ?? Thawing? Does thawing make things harder???

95! I haven't seen 95 degrees in over one year. Actually, looking out the window, it sounds pretty good.
Too bad it wasn't that hot when the camel jockies were down at Crawford, wasting President Bush's time.

If you are young...say under the age of about 15, you can probably (learn Spanish).CH, that is so true. When in England we were surprised to learn that the 1st graders would study French. After a few weeks those kids would just chatter away in that language. It really was amazing to see how quickly the young ones can learn.

Isn't that the truth? Our ex-pat friends here take their kids, many under the age of 10, and enroll them in Spanish-speaking only schools, and after an agonizing couple of months, the kids are fluent. This is why I don't buy the
"we have to teach kids in their native language"argument.
Now for an old geezer like me, I do ok in my little area of knowledge...like talking about dozers and excavators and work. Other than that, I'm lucky to generally follow what's going on. But it's better than trying to learn Swahili!! Jambo!

Bonjour, mon ami. Comment allez vous ajourd-hui?
something like that....
To: Cuttnhorse
Oh.....I was gonna type up this little short blurb from out of the paper...for your enjoyment, of course....and to let everyone know that while my tulips are blooming, this is happening elsewhere nearby.....Cuttnhorse--if my notes are off, please correct the distances.
SPRING STORM DUMPS SNOW, by: Bob Johnson
A spring storm dumped snow throughout Lemhi County Wednesday and Thursday, April 17 - 18.
Lost Trail Pass [MY NOTE: There is a ski resort at Lost Trail Pass, and the pass is over 7,000 ft elevation whereas Salmon is about 4200 ft.] had an accumulation of two feet (2') of new snow with Gibbonsville reporting 4" and Leadore up to 8" [MY NOTE: Gibbonsville is about 30 miles to the north of Salmon heading for Lost Trail Pass which is about another 12 miles; Leadore is about 50 miles to the southwest--which means out in the countryside, they are just a hop, skip, and a jump away :)]
The Idaho Highway Department at Gibbonsville advised that plowing on US Highway 93 continued through the storm from 7:00 a.m. Wednesday to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. By Friday, the highway was bare again.
The snow produced good moisture. In Salmon itself, early morning snow turned to rain.

Sounds good to me Rowdee, love those Spring storms that arrive just before the start of irrigation season, just as the pastures are starting to need a little water.
To: Rowdee
Leadore probably would have had more snow, but it blew into Montana.

There aren't very many interesting articles in the news threads today.
To: ValerieUSA
That was an interesting one you sent about the fraud combat expert advising FOX and everyone else.
