I believe we can do better - I just include more people into "we" than will fit on a boat.

I made every meeting and appointment. On time, too. :) Drove me nuts. I don't want to be kept up with. I resigned from everything and fired the secretary. LOL. I am so happy. I don't have anything to do. :)
To: Letitring
Everybody else thought she was a good idea. It wasn't their selves she was bossing around. LOL They were just trying to keep you out of trouble, and you are just looking for enough spare time to find some.

LOL. Stop that. You're not supposed to understand me so well. :)When Harold gets my car washed, I'm opening the sunroof and going rambling. :)Molly looks so cute. She is wearing her newest and best doggie perfume. :) I am in such a good humor and quite pleased with myself. :)

We are suggesting taking the cream of a whole nation to sea, not a few refugees.

OMG. FOFLOL. Uh-oh !

Actually, she lasted longer than I thought possible. You were being very patient. LOL

I haven't abandoned the argument - Grant called. I'm on the phone.... hearing more about his pick-up truck.
To: ValerieUSA
"This "accident" was clearly an intentional suicide"
LOL. Well, it may have been but it seems absurd that with all those perfectly marvelous mountains in the area that he chose a building.

The World is really a 40,000-ton floating condo complex Good mornin Miss Darlin'
That is the first. There is one of over a million tons in the works, half a mile long.

LOL. Yeah, right. I reminded myself of Arafat while complaining to the Judge. LOL. I got quite shrill. :) "she gives me 30 minutes for tea and toast, IS THIS ACCEPTABLE????????????" ROFLOL. He was wearing his suspenders and I popped them, for him. You should've seen the look on his face. You would've thought I slapped him. :)
To: Letitring
Stop that. You're not supposed to understand me so well. :) I have been practicing. 8-))

I'll bet it was priceless. LOL. Is Bess still laughing ?
To: Servant of the Nine
OMG. That's a larger area than some islands.
To: Darlin'

You haven't seen the 'boats' I am talking about either. This isn't a second Hong Kong harbor I am talking about here.
That is why Swervie and I kept talking about the technology. They can take wire welded fabric (Like chicken wire, only a thicker gauge, and a smaller mesh) and run an electric current through it to make naturally accreted reefs.
And they also have some rad new wave dissipation technologies, which are exciting too.
I am talking about floating cities any size you would want them to be. The floating condos that Swervie was talking about are a similar idea.
Need more room?? Move over a few miles, and make another module. Modules can be built to be joined together too.
At the VERY least, it would be more like being on an aircraft carrier, than a dinghy. A very, very, very, very large aircraft carrier, that is.

Don't you have anything to bring to the discussion besides fear?Ratty, I see no indication that Valerie is fearful; to the contrary, she advocates standing up for her beliefs, reclaiming what is being eroded, and not engaging in some fanciful evacuation to a floating paradise that will never be.
To: Servant of the Nine
Uh-oh. :) What's all this about boats? Do I need to read the thread, or can I have a summary. Buy a boat, quick, or not?
To: Letitring
FOFLOL.
