I guess he got out ironing board and put his mouse on it
so he could reach high up to post
to elevate his shoulder
makes sense

but why doesn't he do what normal people do
take dip in ocean
that will make booboo go away pronto

Little Nancy was in the garden filling in a hole when her neighbor peered over the fence.

Interested in what the cheeky-faced youngster was doing, he politely asked, "What are you up to there, Nancy?"

"My goldfish died," replied Nancy tearfully, without looking up," and I've just buried him."

The neighbor was concerned, "That's an awfully big hole for a goldfish, isn't it? "

Nancy patted down the last heap of earth then replied,
"That's because he's inside your cat!"

My best friend's daughter is marrying in Charleston and we are invited for all the festivities. It should be fun, and we're really looking forward to seeing the sights. ;-)

Now Palo, I aint cookin no more catfish, unless forced to by the hubby....I know people love catfish, but I ate so much of it as a kid, I just cannot stomach it anymore...same goes for smelt fish...my dad brought home hundreds and hundreds of those smelt, and mom cooked and we ate every last one of them...

I paid my bills, did my taxes, now its on to doll shopping...

Dizzy is sitting in the bedroom window...he likes to sit there, and breathe in the fresh air, and watch the birds, squirrels, and doggies that go by...poor guy, he would love to go outside, but being that he is declawed, he is not allowed to venture into the outside...something or someone may get him, and he has no defense...

The hubby is up early today, going to the travel agency to purchase his plane ticket for his trip to Chicago for his Memorial Day Picnic...he is very excited getting ready for his trip...I am excited to have two weeks without him...(Only kidding, but its nice to have the house absolutely to myself, without regard to the hubbys schedule)

hi andysmom
you sure make it up to Dizzy
when I lived in Manhattan my friends went to country for summer and took their cat with them
when they returned to Manhattan, I said 'lucky cat, got to be outside in country all summer'
they said his happiest moment was when he returned and could sit at window watchin' pigeons again
Happy's paw is healed and we're walkin' dogs again
Lulu got me to cross 5th St and hang out in the apartments
I thought it was cause she liked walkin' on the soft cool grass
turns out it's cause there are cats all over the place
and she likes stalkin' them
Our heat is here
it's not so much fun
but still cool and breezy in house
Love, Palo

Just had an hours rest lyin in the pool in the sun... Ohhh.. lovely. Had a nice shower, and now I have to figure out what to do with this head of unkempt hair. Need my daughter soon.. Good thing it won't be long.. The hairdresser is not the one coming unfortunatly.. Talked to her today tho and she was heading to the Dr's. Has been awfully sick with a virus.. Sore throat, fever..the whole works.. Good thing she's not the one traveling...

Helga loved cats also... she loved to lick them all over

The neighbor had a little kitty, named Punkin, she was a sweet little thing, and she adored Helga...often when Punkin came out, in the warmer weather, she would jump the fence and come to see Helga

Now, Helga loved being outside in the warm weather and you nearly had to drag her in at night...she loved to sleep under this one big old tree, and if she wasnt running around the yard, barking at something or another, she would be asleep under that big tree...one time I went out to look for her, and there she was sound asleep, with little Punkin in the crook of Helgas short fat stumpy leg, and also sound asleep...

Punkin and Helga often slept together out under that tree...its fitting that Helga is buried beneath that tree...

That's a funny joke.Take a few with you to Charleston.Enjoy the oysters there, if you like them, and hope you get a chance to walk the old part of the City. Its lovely and all the wrought iron, almost neo Baroque architecture is quite a sight. That city sure has a mood to it, but I don't know what it is ;-) Have a great trip!!

Exactly...tho I cannot miss my hubby in the evenings, because even when he is home, his evenings, except for the weekends, are spent at work...

But when he is home, he works so much, that the whole house and its schedule, must revolve around him and his schedule...

So when he is gone, it is just like you say...I can cook if and when I want, I can go wherever I want, whenever I want, and not have to worry about the hubbys schedule...

Also being that he is a night worker, and day sleeper, I always have to go to extra lengths to make sure its kept quiet during the day, which can often be difficult...

So when he will be in Chicago for two weeks, I have two weeks vacation myself...and I love it...

The hubby gets five weeks vacation a year, so he keeps two or three weeks for whatever and wherever he wants, and then we usually take the other two weeks together in the fall...this keeps us both happy...
