So glad that all is calm and well at Palos household...I bet Happy was so enthralled to visit the park with his 'dad' and get to romp on the grass...

Thats too bad about Bill losing his watch...but the story you tell of its going off everyday at 2pm is funny...those bats will wonder what in the world is going on, in their cave...perhaps they will get together and get rid of it...

When my son returned for his year long around the world trip, he had this watch that he had bought in Singapore...just a cheapy watch, but he bought it because you can set it to have this lady come on and tell you the time...I am not sure what language she is speaking in, but its some sort of Asian language....

Anyway the son bought it just for a curiosity and to use while in Singapore...so when he came back to USA, he gave it to me, because I enjoyed hearing the lady come on and announce the time...

Only problem, now is, somehow the watch got set to where the lady comes on every single hour and announces the time...my son showed me how to keep her quiet, but I cant get it to work, where she is silenced...so I gave up and put the watch in the back spare bedroom...but it seems no matter when I go back there, she is announcing the time...and I hate to ask the son again, how to silence her, as he will think my brains have gone to mush, as he has already shown me twice what to do...so for now we have the Asian lady time announcer in our house...

Palo.. I wonder what will be born first, the Eaglettes or my new Granddaughter.. My daughter in law is ready as can be right now but isn't due till end of month.. My son Gary said the baby is in a Sailors Dive position and she's dialating. So, knowing that tough little Italian, she'll be having it soon.. She planted trees, shrubs and flowers all weekend, and she never stops..so, I'll bet she beats the Eaglets for sure... lol

Palo.. 87 degrees here and nice and dry.. Just a few puffy clouds in the sky.. Just got out of the pool.. Back to CD's.. Listening to Julio..who I just copied... Ohhhh.. I loooove this album.. Now he's singing Starry Starry Night.. Mmmmmmmm..

It's been awhile since we've had a little girl for fluffy dresses.. I might have to get out my Pinafore patterns again.. lol Of course it will be a few years before she can really wear one.. Well, maybe only one... ;)

Have a nice swim...Bill must be turned around from his caving trip...his watch jumped into his other pocket...

Now, I need to wake up the hubby and get him ready for work...he is going to buy his airline ticket today, for his trip back to Chicago for Memorial Day...once he gets his ticket, he knows his vacation time is not far behind...good for him...he needs the rest, he works so much overtime, he needs to get away from work, and from me for a while, and unwind with all his Chicago buddies...

Just printing my next to last Jacket.. Have one more to plan up.. It's hot as heck and I'm ready for something cool to drink...and I know it's not going to be water.. Well, it might have a tad of water in it. LOL A cool drink.. warm thoughts, a swim in the pool and a Cheeseburger... Can't beat that with a stick... ;)

Sounds like fine living to me - I had my cheeseburger for lunch today - but two burgers a day is a doable deal. (All the food groups except chocolate represented.) See'ya later. ;-)
