I'm baaaaaaack. Everything watered down.

In the Weatherbug, by clicking on Travel, then typing Chicago in the city line, you get webcams at the Water Tower, the various airports (I couldn't bring Meigs up, tho) and lots of other places. It's been wet, shiny and gloomy the past few days, and people are trudging around in heavy coats. Fun to look at. Almost as good as the eagles...

Well, most of our late fall, all winter, and early spring are nothing but cloudy skies, grey skies, and rain...tho it does not usually pour, but rather can be lots of showers here and there, or an all day drizzle...

But if you can get through those really dismal times, late spring, all summer and early fall are really quite joyful...blue skies, sunshine, and moderately warm temps...

Thankfully, because this is a temperate clime, we dont get those extremes of weather, subzero, or blazing hot...tho this winter we did get more than our usual amount of snow...and sometimes, it can get hot in the summer...tho blazing hot to us means anything over 80 degrees...we Pacific Northwesterners are such babies...

If I remember right, their high was 46* today. With snow spritzes, my sister said earlier this week. And in Chicago, of course, cold winds off the lake.

Palo, you download and install it. Then you always have the local temp showing down by the clock. You right click on the temp and it brings up a bunch of other stuff...

And each type of kachina (I think...) doll has a particular meaning to the Indians. I wonder what the eagle represents.

LOL LOL - I forgot to mention a step or two when typing to Andysmom, didn't I? Your directions make more sense. I never would have found the Water Tower cam again if you hadn't given me such clear directions. Thanks, Westy!

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing! I know when I plotz but I didn't remember where spritz came from. My mother worked for a Jewish family and I'm sure some of their phrases are still tucked away in my memory cells - LOL.
