He loses? Sure, Tigre doesn't always win but he seems to win the big ones! It is his focus and endurance...the others are great golfers but they do not have Tiger's endurance for the long match games.

That is an interesting setup! Cepting for "Sound of Music".....egads....if I atually hear a part of that tune, it stays with me for days and days....and the harder I try to ignore, the more it 'sticks like glue'!!
Should you have an avalanche, is there enough time to get to the safe haven?

*LOL* I'll leave the daytrading on the stock market to people with money. I just talk and type, but I don't invest (except in groceries, gasoline by the tankful and sneakers for the boys). I am assetless.... proununciation varies.

Ah yes, spring in the Rockies......like, I just looked out the front....and I can't see the tops of the mountains to the west fo the valley.....and forget bout seeing the Bitterroots!! All covered with fog? or storm?
I'm filling in for the folks who pasture their horses here, in feeding hay last night and this morning.....it was 'dampish' feeling and windy when I went out to feed them at 9. I didn't bother to look around--I just wanted to feed and get back in the house--keep the hay out of my eyes!
Dad said the weatherman this morning said rain for the next 4 days.....I get to head out for Phoenix tomorrow morning....where it is hotter than normal.....oh welll......

We've built a bunch of avalanche protection above the plant and offices...we could still get cut off below the mine, but unless we have an enormous storm, like in '97 El Niño, when we had 30-foot drifts, we should be safe. We have a big winter operations plan and actually have our own weather forecaster on site, so when things get bad we evacuate the place.

Looks like the paper is gradually catching up to ya! LOL
I haven't been up the bit P....brother loves it up that way....has done work for some of the ranching families....I believe he just put a bid in on a restoration project up there a couple of weeks back....something like rock foundations for 7 or 8 buildings and then a lot of rock for a new home or a big old home.

Good on the rain...we lost our leasee this year and I don't have anyone to irrigate the pastures. Don't think they've opened the gates yet, but should be able to talk the neighbor into moving a little water around for beers and dinner.

"Alaska has some awesome wildlife, and most of them seem to have their own webcams" LOL!

Sounds like y'all plan ahead....and as Martha says, 'that's a good thing'.
OK, so now I'm starting to confuse myself....up here, we're in spring getting ready, hopefully, to go into summer.....down there, y'all should be in autumn getting ready, unfortunately, to go into winter....right?

Dang it, my parents were going to be here next month, but changed their minds and are going to Reno and Washington instead, because my nephew up there is much more enthusiastic about his graduation than Gavin is about his.
I was hoping my Dad could fix the lawnmower and the leak in the washer machine. I guess that's why they have repair shops, eh? *LOL*
To: Cuttnhorse
Oh that is hilarious!
To: Mo1
I was just gonna post that. You're on top of it this mornin' Mo.
To: Rowdee
Yep...it's like "mid-October" here now...we're just about 6 months upside down from the real world.

Does the bank situation in DC mean we're supposed to wear a different homeland security color today?
To: Cuttnhorse
Well......aint' this cute.....we're getting snow flurries!!! Sheesh.......guess nows as good a time as any to get laundry done, make grocery list, start packing, checking off the list of do dos and don't dos......geeze....I've got to get gas...and check the oil in this crappy weather!
Guess this is one of the reasons I want to go a little further south--I am tired of snow!
Take care, Cuttnhorse.....July is just around the corner...well, sort of!
