Next week Trading Places is going to be in Texas - Dallas and Austin. In Austin they'll be at the home of the mom of the lead Dixie Chick.

My neighbors where just taking about that and how neat it would be to do the Tading Places thing and I'm thinking .. what are you nuts ..

Glad yours was fine Mo. Here it was very pleasant. Except for last night when DOOM! came to visit. He came on the porch and was standing there looking at me when I threw back the curtain at the sliding glass door. As he was only the thickness of the glass away, I got a good look at him. He is about 3 1/2' high, 6' long and heavy. I loaded the big rifle, called Ms cp (who was asleep) and looked back to find nothing but wet paw prints on the porch.

OH MY PUP ... that is a little to close ... is there any way to get rid of him before he tries eating the barrel of your gun ..

Well, I'm back. Geez, FReepers are a strange and unique breed. Hehehe...I'm stuffed with barbeque. Yummmm. Parsifal is nuts, but very funny and creative. We have a good time. Tonight we had guest speakers, both of whom gave us a real glimpse into just how corrupt Arkansas politics are, and judging by the timeline, a lot of it seems to coincide with Clinton's time in office here. Now there's a shocker.

The wildlife folks say that he will go away if there is nothing for him to eat. There is nothing here at the house but I think that the many blackberry/huckleberry/blueberry vines and bushes that are all over my hills must keep him thinking about this place.

Good evening, sl. That is him. He has those ears laid back like a polar bear. The best way to describe him is that he scares the he is burly.

Mo they will trap him if I demand it but they make a point that in the springtime the bears come down from higher elevations looking for food. If they are trapped and relocated, two-thirds of them don't survive. Hunters and other bears take them out. I will give it a few days to see if he goes away.
