chat login / room creation worked just fine,
but the font really could used bumped up a point or two.
now all i need to figure out is how to create someone to talk to ... ;-)

Doesn't work with WebTV :( Yeah....its Java...sigh
But at least this Beta forum loads much faster for the little guy. :)
To: John Robinson
John, you may want to let people know up front that they can't have spaces in their name when they log in (unless you change that).
To: John Robinson
hehehehe - and until you firm up the login process... don't trust the screen names....

I got in -- but there was no place for me to type an entry. I was the only one in the room, but I tried anyway. No way to type anything. But it did ask me several times: "You like talking to yourself?"

Dear John -
You are screwing up the concept of a web forum.
Best Regards!

Hard to lurk when your the only one there. Seems more like voyeur. : ) That's funny!! On the other hand, if no one else is there, I can write as slow, and as much as I want!! LOL.

I made a room and I'm now an op. I hope an op is something good and not embarassing.

I made a room and I'm now an op. I hope an op is something good and not embarassing. Ha! Guess it depends on whither you're the OPerator of the room, or the OPposition!!! I'm too scared to go, because I'm a finger pecker {no comments please], but I might join Eddie Willers and Great Dane and watch!

How can someone watch without logging in and entering the room, where the other people in the room can see you are there, even if you're very very quiet?
To: John Robinson
It's okay I guess (though, like all Java applets, takes forever to load and execute), but I'm wondering why we couldn't just have an IRC channel or something instead.
Also, I *really* don't like how anyone can log in under any Freeper's name; the password field appears to be irrelevant.
