You are so right...when my hubby goes shopping, I just never know what he might bring home...here is one of my hubbys shopping trips
When we were living in North Carolina, and the boys were little guys, and the hubby was in the military, there was never lots of money...just had enough to take care of us all, and get the boys what they needed...
Now the hubby knew I had always loved my dolls...and when I was a little girl, I always wanted a 'Tiny Tears' doll, for Christmas...well I guess we were too poor for a 'Tiny Tears' doll, so mom got me a doll which did the same things as 'Tiny Tears', drank a bottle, wet its pants...but she had molded hair, rather than the real hair...I loved the doll mom got me, but always longed to have a 'Tiny Tears' doll...and my husband had heard that story...
So, one day in North Carolina, the hubby called to say he would be extra late coming home from the base, because he had some shopping to do...I could not imagine what he was buying, as I knew we did not have much extra money...but I told him I would hold dinner, and see him when he got home...
When he arrived on our street, he was honking his horn, and waving a package out of the window...me and the boys came out to see what all the ruckus was about...hubby got out of car, and gave me this package...it was a 'Tiny Tears' doll...he really touched my heart that day...he had saved a few dollars here, a few dollars there, until he had enough for a 'Tiny Tears' doll...
And that doll was the very first doll of my adult years of collecting dollies...and I still have her to this day...
Sometimes when the hubbies come home from shopping, they come home with a bunch of crap...and then there are the times they come with a very precious gift...

You have got the right idea...we try to incur as little debt as possible...will make for a more care free retirement...
And speaking of the devil, the hubby just pulled up in the garbagemobile...
I should go see what he bought...see ya all later...
