I will not let my sons EVER see that recipe - they wouldn't be able to resist trying it.

"Did LOTR get anything?" They got costume design, cinematography, visual effects, and I think original sound score. They were robbed!
By the way Swervie, that was an entertaining review you sent me.

I think their complaining is just angry rhetoric right now. I am upset about it and a few other things. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with some of the presidents' policies and certainly nothing wrong with debating them. Had this been done the past eight years, a lot of hatred and hostilities would have been prevented. I know that many want us to show togetherness in the same fashion the democrats stuck together but they were wrong then and we would be wrong to mimic them now. We are more honest with ourselves and that is something no one will take away from us. I'm from a family of twelve. None of us are alike except in one way, we love and respect each other with all our hearts. We disagree on a lot of things but in the end, we are still family. That is how it is (as far as I'm concerned) with the republican party.

"Is it just my opinion or is Alan Colmes one of the whiniest liberals ever to make skin crawl?" Actually, he has improved and toned down considerably since 9/11. I always kind had the attitude about him that he was just plain too dumb to really dislike. He certainly isn't one of the brighter bulbs in the party.

I don't meam to disparage her award in any way. She's a young woman who seemingly has worked long and hard for each of accomplishments and I applaud her determination and focus. IMHO, she's really good at what she does. However, I wonder if she ever considers her Mother's feelings when she carrys on and on and on about being black.

"she would have given one incredibly powerful performance if she had won an Oscar for playing a typical white woman" But seriously, that is their mentality! Well, she was cast in a role as an inferior person...whine, moan, gripe......

"... they wouldn't be able to resist trying it."
Neither would I when I was a teenager. I wouldn't have been able to stand it until I'd tired it out. LOL

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Tornado season is gearing up in the United States, but so far only 11 have touched down in 2002 compared to 178 by this time in a normal year, U.S. weather officials said on Monday.

The comments are except for about 2 people - quite drastic!! I was afraid of this. Many say he's a Liar, they will in no way vote for him again, he's a one-termer, etc. etc. I had an awful feeling about this. I just want to know why?? Why couldn't he have vetoed it?? First .. he can't Veto it .. because it will still go thru .. they have enough votes to over ride the veto
Second .. for those who say they won't vote for Bush again .. OH PLEASE .. tell me who are they going vote for HILLARY!!!!
Even IF they throw their vote away on a third party like say PAT .. then you have the 1992 Elections all over again but this time it will be QUEEN HILLARY in the White House
I may not be happy about this CFR Bill .. but NOT A CHANCE IN HELL will I throw my vote down the drain
And IF these people who CLAIM to love their country .. they might want to do a little rethinking about throwing their vote away

Same here. It is sounding like the concern is more internal than over the possibility of crashing planes into the buildings. Not to say were are totally safe .. because NOTHING is 100% guarantee .. might I also remind all .. this bit of news came from a Liberal Rat from Massacu. .. you ask me .. he is trying to start trouble .. because when has a Rat ever given a Hoot about "OUR" safety

This one was cute...especially for somebody with teenaged boys.
DAD, CAN I USE THE CAR
A teenage boy, who was the son of a minister, had just gotten his first driving permit. He came to his father soon after and asked if could discuss his use of the car.
His father said to him, "I'll make a deal with you, son. You study hard this month, bring your grades up, study your Bible, and get your hair cut, then you ask me again in a month and we'll talk about letting you use the car."
A month later, the boy brought his report card to his father and asked if they could discuss letting him use the car now. His father looked him over and said, "Son, I'm right proud of you. You have brought your grades up, and I've seen you reading your Bible every night... but you didn't get your hair cut!"
The young man looked at his father and replied, "Well, dad, I've been thinking about that. I've learned a lot of things from the Bible. And I read in there about how Samson had long hair, and Moses had long hair, and Noah had long hair, and even Jesus had long hair."
"Yes, they did, son," his father replied, "And if you read on a little further you'll find out that they WALKED everywhere they went!"

We O'Donnells have great taste...Just ask us! I loved the story too. And so did my mom. So when she was diagnosed with the Alzhiemers I got the book for her. She was able to enjoy it for awhile.

"What? No smoke alarm???" Why would she need a smoke alarm. I would think that a flying cooked chicken would be pretty hard to miss!
To: Canadian Outrage
That must be a sick joke - isn't Rosie the pig who had children removed from her pig pen home I never heard that .. actually I have heard the opposite .. that she is a very good mom
