So did you catch up on the thread? That little Ratt was picking on you as usual. Nice to have you back.

Yes, those Kimbers are very nicely done. I just noticed a couple of their ads in the April "American Rifleman."

Thank you, sl, for the green smooch. Is that Irish? I have caught up but only by ignoring most of the week's posts. As for Rattboy, it seems redundant for you to refer to him as "little Ratt."

Yes, I probably am making up for lack of a BB gun as a child. It's my mother's fault!

I wish they'd stop messing with it. Change is fine, endless change is somewhat perplexing. LOL I'm beginning to feel like a lab experiment.

FOFL. Yes, I guess it is at that. :) Ratty will know exactly what I'm talking about. Tobacco sticks are about 4 ft long, usually out of a hardwood like Oak or Ash. They made grear stick horses, great swords too. LOL. They're also good for walking or hiking sticks and cattle prods. LOL

Well we City Folks don't have many cows up this way .. hehe

Reading all these stories of when y'all were little is like something out of the movies ... way different from the way I grew up here in Yankeee Land .. lol

Darlin', if Mo REALLY wants to find out about tobacco sticks, then I might be able to find some old grizzled farmer who still uses stick barns, instead of bulk barns...

Come August, she could get a REAL eye-opening education on Southern heat and humidity and farm work.

We used to get about 450-500 sticks per barn.
