I wish you could come over to my folks garage - EVERYTHING of my brother's and my stuff is still there. Everything that the critter-bugs and the mice havn't chewed up or nested in. (Just before Mother died, and Dad was at the hospital, I ordered a 40 yd. dumpster just to get rid of all the old newspapers and magazines. Amazing the house hadn't collapsed.)

... and then there are some of us who don't think it is polite to use nasty terms like anal rententive - which is the opposite of what? Loose bowels? Queer? Stinky?... Nope, I don't want to know.
To: Mo1
Now that is one precious "Annie Oakley"!

Those quotes from the article don't exactly sound like toasts to your beloved Mac.
That somebody would pay a price equivalent to a NEW Macintosh, just to get a 10-12 year old still-working model because they LOVED their old machines so much, is the kind of brand loyalty that NASCARs are made of.

If a well-accepted psychology term offends you then PLEASE don't EVER turn on your TV again.

I don't buy the use of the word "homophobic" either, as if the aversion to being approached by queers is unnatural, rather than the queer being the sick-o, which is how they use the term on TV.

HA! You're not the master debater you claim to be after all... running away again! Oh well, I better feed these kiddos some supper anyway.

"I wish you could come over to my folks garage - EVERYTHING of my brother's and my stuff is still there." Oohhhh I do too! I love to plunder! That used to be one of my favorite things to do when I went to Grandma's house. She was an absolute packrat and she would let me plunder to my heart's content.

Grandparent's houses are the very best. My mother's folks lived in a very primitive log house built in the 1860's, right after the War between the States. One decent sized living area with a pot-bellied stove, one bedroom and a skinny galley for a kitchen, and an outhouse.
But there was an attic with lots of trunks that contained the most amazing treasures to we grandkids, who would go up exploring with our flashlights to see what we could find and drag down.
Thanks for that great flashback.

This was in my e-mail (from a man, not a male-bashing girlfriend *L*)
MOODS OF A WOMAN
An angel of truth and a dream of fiction,
A woman is a bundle of contradiction,
She's afraid of a wasp, will scream at a mouse,
But will tackle her boyfriend alone in the house.
Sour as vinegar, sweet as a rose,
She'll kiss you one minute, then turn up her nose,
She'll win you in rage, enchant you in silk,
She'll be stronger than brandy, milder than milk,
At times she'll be vengeful, merry and sad,
She'll hate you like poison and love you like mad.
MOODS OF A MAN
Horny
Sleepy
Hungry
To: ValerieUSA
You forgot "Really Horny".

"There wasn't very good cap and hammer control laws in those days. Imagine, letting a child under the age of 18 buy a roll of caps. -snip- I'm lucky to have lived this long! What were my parents thinking?"
