Clearsource (my isp) offers 5MB of space on their server - I just haven't figured out how to ftp to it.
DOH!!!!
And you are paying fotki??

My phone company is NOT my ISP
Anytime I am forced to troubleshoot a connectivity problem, the FIRST thing I verify, is the physical layer. (cabling, connections, and making sure I have a good clean signal all the way to where I plug in the equipment)
Since your phone company is NOT your ISP, they have no vested interest in making sure that you have a DSL quality signal all the way to your place.
Does your phone company OFFER DSL in your area?? If so, then you might be more likely to have a good clean signal there.
Did they send out a technician to hook it up for you originally??

I think they do offer DSL, they did when it was Pacific Bell. No technician came to my house. My husband attached the connectors with the external modem, and the filters on the telephone lines, and the USB connection. I have double-checked them and they are tight. That's the first thing i checked when I began having problems. He had installed a filter incorrectly, and I changed that, and now have the phone line plugged directly into the modem, and the filter on the telephone. I'm using a double jack with two physical lines - one to the modem, one to the phone.

They and most others have somewhere on their home page a link to set up your own homepage and put whatever you want on it. They usually have a selection of web design tools you can use to design your site.
If all else fails, click on help and ask them

DirecTV has an introductory offer of $39.95 for the first six months of service, no activation fee. They're the company that took over my Telocity provider, and my experience has been excellent. (Except they jerked the pricing to $49.95/mo.)

This is what is there so far
Me?

Now that the DSL seems to be working OK, I'll wait and see, give it another chance, but I'll also be looking into options.
We are getting DishNetwork hooked up next week to our new TV. We have been using the one I bought in 1983, and my husband decided it was past time for us to upgrade. The old one still works, but the new one is soooo nice. 27" flat screen, great picture.

.38sw - good luck with all of it. You will love your satellite tellie except when fat storm clouds block the view.
