But I am shocked...Duke lost to Indiana...74-73....what a shocker...Duke is always a contender for going all the way...oh well, there is always next year...
We were living in North Carolina, when both North Carolina, and North Carolina State won the championship...the days of Dean Smith and Jim Valvano...we went wild....
I still have our coke bottles, with coke inside, and still sealed, commemorative bottles, with the NC and NC state logos and mascots on the bottles...I did not think we still have any of those left, but when cleaning out the garage this summer, we found two of these bottles...
I dont care much for watching professional basketball games, but always enjoy the college championship games...

On a sad side note, I want to ask for many prayers for a good friend of my hubbys, who died a few days ago...he was a red-headed Irishman, who lost his battle with liver cancer....fittingly, his wake was on St Patricks day(We wonder if he planned this on purpose)...his tie had a shamrock on it, and a bagpiper played 'Amazing Grace', as his coffin was lowered into the ground...so, to my Freeper friends, please remember our dear friend in your prayers...
Hopefully, I will be back online towards the end of next week, and expect that I will have to take some time catching up on the goings on, here on this thread...
Fittingly now, I am going to watch 'Alien Nation, Dark Horizon', a theme which fits right into this thread...

Found this picture in the locket around Willy Lump Lump's neck. I think this is where he used to live. Have you tried kissing him ?
Hmmmmmmm...I wonder if Belfrey came from the same place along with Sting and String and Lessa.
