Habs also promises immediate survey final findings (so I've heard.....) and we know that's impossible - he carries no discernible tool to tally with. How could you not have noticed? Or maybe things changed........

Palo...you are a clever gal, finding me extra work to pay for my dolls...some new dolls arrived yesterday from the Parcel Post guy...Luckily the hubby had already left for work, so I had time enough to move those boxes into the garage and blend them in with the mountain of other doll boxes...the hubby will be none the wiser now...he really does not mind me spending the money at all....hes just fearful that one day, I will request him to move himself and his gear outside, to make more room for my dollies...
I just checked on to the Eaglecam and found a big old eagle sitting there...I love it, when you are watching them, when they decide to fly off, and we get to see them in flight
that gray sky behind the eagle is exactly how our skies look today...its cold, cloudy, and rainy here today....lousy for the first day of spring...I cannot seem to warm up today, no matter how much heat I run...and the dampness is really making my arthritic knees hurt and crack...gosh, I will be no good at doing any dancing, unless I can perhaps dance for some oldster men, who wont mind my cracking knees...
While working in the nursing homes, we always had different groups come in and entertain the seniors, on a Friday afternoon...many of those seniors were also allowed to have a few beers, or some wine or wine coolers, to loosen them up, if they so desired....
One time, the nursing home invited in a belly dancing club....several young ladies in appropriate belly dancing attire, and their musicians came along, and entertained the seniors...it was quite the afternoon...senior men and senior ladies, grinning, and banging on their wheelchairs, and walkers, trying to keep time with the music and the bellydancers...I swear, when we put those seniors to bed, several hours later, they were still grinning...and they talked about those belly dancers for weeks...it was quite the afternoon..

Gotta run but I leave you to ponder Gran's sage and age-old question: Does the spearmint lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?
I love you all. See you at dockside (or in Willin Wimmin in the Oh, Well..... section).

Morning has broken
Like the first morning.
Blackbird has spoken

To: GoodyBrown
Life's good :-)Spring has almost sprung and the rains have come.Have you gawked at the latest Gourmet on your old home town?It may make you maudlin though, and one weepy Queenie in Grannie is more than we can take here ;-)
To: habs4ever
No...April issue? Habs are you enjoying your 'new' age? lol
To: habs4ever
...palo says you are hopeless old age person?!
To: GoodyBrown
It's the March issue, and my "new" age, while certainly accelerating, is not changing my "old' habits. Our resident desert hippie knows that it is but a process, not a destination, while she cruises the high seas in black suede pumps and green bras ;-)
To: habs4ever
Yup. The trip.
To: habs4ever
