Very good Smeagol.
Ask your prof if the food distribution process is fair since only 20% of eligible buyers of tomatoes actually bought tomatoes yesterday. ;^)

Thank you ksen... I feel at peace with the paper now.
BTW, watched the first 15 minutes of FOTR SE... I love the opening with Bilbo describing hobbits and watching them. What a great beginning. It is a wonderful film.

If low voter turnout of a perceived segment of the population, such as Democrats, blacks, etc., is a perceived problem, the only recourse is for government to treat that segment differently than the rest somehow, in order to motivate them, bring the polls into their homes or whatever.
This sort of unequal treatment of favored groups in order to achieve a specific perception of "equality" is one of the basis of socialism.
It may achieve the egalitarianism that the Left admires, but in doing so, it kills the individual liberty and personal freedom for which our country was founded.

That's true... wish I had thought of it.

"give the right to vote only to people who aren't on public assistance"
Or better yet, perhaps give it only to landowners :-)
While we're at it, who else needs "disenfranchising," I wonder?
To: Sam Cree
I'm off to school! Everyone have a great day.
To: carton253
I forgot, Carton, but I think that sort of unequal treatment kills the "rule of Law" also, that is, the idea that the law is unvarying and treats everyone the same and is not arbitrary.
I think the idea of the "rule of law" is very unPC, that's why the Left wants our Constitution to be able to be interpreted differently depending on different situations.
I apologize for sounding pedantic. It must be the german in me.

Have a great day, too!

What citizens choose to do or not do defines the citizenry and not the system. The system is sound, fair, and democratic. Sounds great to me! I hope your PC professor isn't grading TOO subjectively! That is, I hope he'll take your arguments into account without grading according to his own bias!
Let us know how you did!

Or better yet, perhaps give it only to landowners :-) I would have said that but there are people who work (and pay taxes) who choose to live in appartments or other rentals.

I have looked at Saxon and I keep hearing good things about it, but I really love the Alpha Omega math! It introduces a skill, but doesn't just quit teaching the other skills. You keep going back to things...refreshing them in your brain. I just really like the lifepac system and so does Matthew...he has a lot of control over when he does his work. He can pick up his workbook and do his assignment for the next day in the evening if he wants to...
I may look into Saxon again...but I don't know...

Tell the liberal you would eliminate voter fraud and give the right to vote only to people who aren't on public assistance I've said that before to my liberal family and just about got lynched... gmta...
To: g'nad
I've said that before to my liberal family and just about got lynchedHehehe....years ago the "conservative" side of the family and the "liberal" side of the family would get into some real arguments about that. Fortunately, my cousins (next generation) from the "liberal" side have joined the "conservative" side.
So now we have to find something else to argue about. :)

I just saw your post...My sympathy to your and your family...keeping you in my thoughts and prayers...

I've heard good things about Alpha Omega for the lower levels, but Saxon seems to be head and shoulders over the rest for later years.
Hi again. I'm in database class.
