Rowallan Consort plays true medieval music (generally on ancient instrumentsOOO WEE! I LOVE medieval and renaissance music! Boston Camerata did a lovely 'Renaissance Christmas' CD a few years back. I had the album, but got it last year on CD. It is wonderful!
I'm going to check out the Rowallan Consort.

The herb book says that chamomille is also good for indigestion and nausea.

I'm not surprised...I have started drinking it now whenever I feel my stomach getting upset. I really think it helps. You know, it feels like I have a brick or rock in my stomach...not really a pain, just a bad yucky feeling. I haven't had it since I've been drinking this tea!

Yes. The same folks (plus a few) that play as the Rowallan Consort also do the Baltimore Consort. Look down a little further on that page and you'll see the Rowallan Lute Book listed as well as a few others. They have quite a large catalog as either the Rowallan or Baltimore Consort. There should be more on Amazon than just this entry.

I love the fact that most of his songs are just three or four chords...and how much he could put into a song that musically is fairly simple.Yep, all of the magic was in his lyrics, and in the way he sang them, imho.

I had figured out the font color= thing, but only know a few colors. And I'm clueless when it comes to the hex code colors... Here's a list of basic color codes:
purple=800080
light purple=9370db
blue=0000ff
cyan=00ffff
green=008000
light green=80ff80
yellow=ffff00
light yellow=ffff80
orange=ff7000
red=ff0000
pink=ff8080
magenta=ff00ff
brown=401000
grey=b0b0b0
white=ffffff
black=000000
In the hex code, the first two digits are red, the next two are green, and the last are blue. Values are from 0 (black) to f (white). I'm looking for a good table I can link to.

To borrow one of 2JMs favorite lines "Fetch My Medicine"! I'm listening to "Noels Celtiques"; a CD of music from Brittany. It starts with a song I've heard before, but don't know the name. It is just a lovely tune with awesome harmonies!

See, I read Heinlein first when I was 10. It was magical stuff then and at least some of my enjoyment is nostalgia. But I like books that made me think, even about silly things - and this particular book was written in 1951, when really and truly no one knew what was on the other side of the moon. They were pretty sure, but no-one had been there.
Some general remarks about HTML and such for you and Suzi: the reason why some tags are allowed to have spaces, such as < img src > is because the first part is the name of the tag - what it is - and the second part is one particular behavior of that tag. The "img" tells the browser that it's a picture; the "src" bit says where to find that pic. You can have other things, like "height" and "border" after the "src" too.
The hex tables - if you have Paintshop, or even Paint, open up the color palette and pick the color you want. The hex value should be shown somewhere. If it's just a "200 Red, 50 Blue, 6 Green", you can convert - the hex values are just those numbers in hex - base 16. So "ffffff" is just 256-256-256 - or white.

We read the Chronicles of Narnia to the kids about 5 yrs. ago when ds was 8 and dd was 10. They enjoyed it immensely. Have you seen the Wonderworks production of the Chronicles? It was 3 parts; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and the Silver Chair. It was a very good adaptation combining live action and animation. I know it is on video. Check your library or video store. It would be fine for both boys, I believe.

Thanks! I'll check out the additional listings!

Look down a little further on that page and you'll see the Rowallan Lute Book listed as well as a few others. I looked back and didn't see that listing on that page, nor did it come up in a search. It keeps coming back to the Baltimore Consort, but nothing on the Rowallan Lute Book or Rowallan Consort.

That post makes no sense to me. What are you talking about? Whistles?
