AUSTIN, Texas - It was a historic election night in Texas, with many firsts and political shifts taking place, including in the statewide courts.
Democrat Maggie Ellis became the first woman elected to lead the state’s highest civil court after defeating Republican incumbent Jimmy Blacklock in the race for Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice.
She also is the first openly LGBTQ+ person elected statewide in Texas, according to her campaign.

Perversion of justice.
There was a time in Texas when you could push one button and vote Straight Republican. But without that button, people vote Gay Democrat.
Texas is now more California than California.
I am afraid that we will never get our state back. The Commiecrats will rig the system like they did in California..

There was a time I left California for Arizona because California had become too liberal. After a couple of decades in Arizona, I mused leaving Arizona because it was becoming too Californiaized. Now that Texas has fallen, I realize there is nowhere left to run. Wherever you go, there you are.
Texas appears to be accelerating full-on to a solid blue state. What the heck happened there?
Tennessee elected Marcia Blackburn as the first female Governor of that State, but she’s white, and straight, so it doesn’t matter.
I dint vote for the carpet muncher.
Same map, just higher percentages in urban squalor. Little blue dots in a sea of red minus the Mexicans along the border that went back to their old ways. All of the rural counties were their usual 75-25. Suburban counties like Denton, Collin, and Williamson that had been red went full commie. If you want a good map, I found one today on of all places NPR.

I can buy people didn’t like Paxton but all these other swings make me believe this was shady. They just went all in
