Waters is a has been.

Good on Metallica for keeping politics out of their concerts

One of the things I love amount Metallica is they will play songs of the countries they are playing in. For example they played “Sen O Warszawie” when they played in Warsaw.

Waters appears to
be obsessed with pricks.

Oh, that’s rich, Roger Waters lecturing anyone on kindness.

Few recording artists in history have shown less capacity for introspection than the man who spent decades rewriting history so that every conflict was someone else’s fault and every mirror was defective.

I walked out on Waters when he started his liberal bloviating.

Waters crafted ‘The Wall’ while being enlightened on targeting actual violent tyrannical rulers who he blamed for his father's death, in his case Hitler. Then transitioned after he got wealthy to propping up both violent (Islamic false Gospel) and benevolent tyrants.

When I first saw Pink Floyd the Vietnam War was still going on. Lots of protests going on in those days. But PF played and sang their music and Roger didn’t lecture anyone then. Saw them a few years later and the focus was still on the music.

Once Waters left PF and became a has-been then he somehow moved his identity from being music-focused to leftist-focused. It’s a shame.

“Being kind, have some empathy for your fellow human beings because we need that to spread through across the whole world.”

Unless they have a different opinion than you.
If they have a different opinion than yours, you can treat them any way you like.

Keep the loonies on the path.

“He’s got an IQ of about three.” The dumb loser cannot think of a good insult. Oh well, Pink Floyd was cool in 1973 and Metallica still rocks. Megadeath is better.

I heard them. I told you I heard them playing acoustic instruments and they couldn’t. It was appalling.”

I beg to disagree wit Roger. They are playing very good classical music with modern instruments.

and I offer this as proof

So basically Waters had a meltdown and spewed a bunch of childish crap at somebody else for not bombarding his audience with his own politics. Its quite obvious who the prick here is.

I used to have an amusing story about Waters at a restaurant a relative of mine owned. Non political but I doubt I’ll ever tell it anymore given the way things are with him.

Ol’ Roger sounds like a cult member with a case of the sads because someone more relevant than him refuses to join his cult.
Please ignore him, Mr. Hetfield.
He’s not worth the effort.

I side with the AMERICAN James Hetfield, not the Britsh has-been. Hard to believe Hetfield was born in Downey, CALIFORNIA. He is right, 100%. People don't go to concerts to hear POLITICAL SPEECHES.

Anyway, perhaps Joe Rogan could sponsor a CAGE MATCH between these two. I suspect HETFIELD would crush WATERS in short order.

“he’s a nobody and he’ll always be.”

lol - yeah, he’s only the head of the world’s most successful metal band. ....said by a person I never knew the name of.

“I heard them. I told you I heard them playing acoustic instruments and they couldn’t. It was appalling.”

Says the mediocre bass player and worst musician in every band he’s ever played with.

Hypocrite.

I wanted to add this to my above reply...I don’t mind bands reminding the audience to either register to vote or to ensure they vote. That’s fine, but telling me how to vote is something different. But I do remember Frank Sinatra stumping for Hubert Humphrey...nice concert at Oakland Coliseum back in 1968 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-nwlb2SyLw
