Are we talking about an actual change in the marketing campaign of certain dairy products, or is this a matter of trading metaphors? I used to see several ‘Laughing Cow’ billboards up and and down Highway 101 North near Santa Rosa. I have not traveled there recently, so I wouldn’t know if the cartoon Cow had ‘stopped laughing’ or not.
Rosie still sad.
Juggy Cows On Trampolines
Their signature banter?
They sound like two children.
Considering Kimmel is not funny, he’s the perfect spokes-shill for this effort.
The cow will laugh when no socialist breathes American air.
What’s next, the cow gets hormonal and tramples its calfs?
So is Laughing Cow going the way of Penzeys spices, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and Bud Light?
I checked the wheel of cheese wedges in my fridge and the cow is definitely laughing. If the company is going leftist, then I won’t ever buy their products again.
Demonrats ruin everything.
Slavery under Communism versus freedom is not “a trivial everyday disagreement dividing us.”
Transing healthy kids is not “a trivial everyday disagreement dividing us.”
Flinging the border open and letting in tens of millions of ignorant third-worlders is not “a trivial everyday disagreement dividing us.”
Losing the country to Mohammadans is not “a trivial everyday disagreement dividing us.”
Letting Iran acquire a nuke to destroy NYC and/or Washington DC is not a “a trivial everyday disagreement dividing us.”
The frowning cow? Triangulation.
When I saw the title, I thought it would be a thread about Kamala Harris.
The company that owns “The Laughing Cow” is French, and the non-laughing cow is on their website. I didn’t click on it; I assume the cow has TDS, or some such.
Did they list any of the petty little wedge issue that divide us? You know, to help us focus on the ones we need to put behind us. Or, did they offer any that they could admit they need to work on themselves?
Cermela? Hildabeast? Moochie? Dr. Jill? Not sure which moo we are talking about.
“it’s all those trivial, everyday disagreements dividing us.”
The
American dream accepted by most Americans and taught in school was that we could have disagrements, both trivial and major but they would not divide us.
Both Catholics, Baptists, Jews, Bhuddists, Pentecostals, Hindus, Presbyterians and aetheists could support the same football team, support the same brand of bread, buy the same type of car... and support the same Political Coalition.
The strength of the system was that all POLITICS was local. We could vote with our feet to live in city, suburbs, farm, NY or TX. With World Wars and TV, social media we have nationalized way to much. We can no longer vote with our feet like we used to...in a meaningful way.
For decades libertarians and social conservatives had no say in the Republican Party...But they were still in the coalition. Now the never-Trumpers refuse the concept of a coalition. Within those who vote for Trump, many are not MAGA. And MAGA is just a coalition with disagreements over foreign entanglement and many other topics. And some factions of MAGA would rather destroy the coalition than admit that everyone is not 100% in agreement with their concept of MAGA.
Its like a football team that thinks a bomb to the wide receiver is the only play in football. So when the ball is given to the halfback, or thrown for a short pass, they won’t play for the good of the team. And God forbid the Defense or Special teams thinks they are part of the game.

Chat etiquette?
That’s not trivial. It’s important. In fact v the way we communicate with each other is how civilization holds.
People aren’t taught this stuff anymore, and instead we’re being told to “just deal with it” by a cheese judging us?
Cheese?!
Wtf?
And the idea that a partnership with a comedian is the reason the “cow stopped laughing after 100 years” is not lost on me.
I’m so glad I live in an area with great cheese and don’t have to pretend these flavorless wedges of overprocessed trash are cheese.
The Laughing Cow has announced that they are now a bull and in transition, and that’s not funny.
