A team scanning a boat-shaped hill in eastern Turkey has announced that new radar images show a large man-made structure underground, not just natural rock.
On Wednesday, private research group Noah’s Ark Scans released a preliminary report about their work at the Durupınar Formation in Turkey, claiming that the 515-foot boat-shaped mound contained a 'man-made object.'
The scans were conducted by Dr Khosrow Bakhtar, an engineer who spent decades building detection systems for US defense agencies, including the Air Force, Navy and NORAD.
He used a system he invented called BakhtarRadar, originally developed to find buried tunnels and hidden structures, to scan beneath the boat-shaped Durupınar mound and see whether it was solid natural rock or a man-made structure with rooms and corridors inside.
That process has now concluded that the object under the Durupınar mound is not a natural rock formation, but a large organized man-made structure with corridors, chambers and hallways inside.
In a press release sent to the Daily Mail, Dr Bakhtar said: 'Whatever the object is beneath the surface is extraordinary.
'In forty years of this work, I have never seen anything like it. It could be a ship. It could be a spaceship. What I can say from the radar is that it is organized, it is structural, and a solid geological mass would not have returned such a strong signature.'

I thought all the people except Noah’s family died in the flood. I don’t think there was much of a population to need wood.
The idea that God is finished creating or that anything is ‘done’ seems illogical...
Well, there’s nothing new under the Sun. The narrative did continue on..
ME: got any actual EVIDENCE that these ‘hanging stones’ were EVER used?
COPILOT: Short answer: very little, if any, direct evidence.

Ancient Ballast/Drogue Stones — Meaning, Uses, and Claims
Ancient “ballast” or “drogue” stones are large, heavy rocks with holes or cavities designed to be attached to a vessel by rope, used to stabilize a ship in rough seas by keeping its bow pointed into waves, lowering its center of gravity, and reducing drift
What They Were
In ancient nautical practice, drogue stones (also called sea anchors or anchor stones) were not anchors in the modern sense. Instead, they were stabilizers:
Function: Trailing from the bow or stern, they created drag to keep the ship’s heading steady, prevent rolling in wave troughs, and slow sideways drift
Design: Often large, heavy stones with a drilled hole (sometimes tapered) to fit a rope knot, preventing chafing
Historical use: Found on some ancient vessels; in the Mediterranean, similar stones have been recovered from shipwrecks
Biblical and Ark Theories
Some Christian archaeologists and enthusiasts link drogue stones to Noah’s Ark:
Arzap/Siglaksulu (Turkey): Claimed site of “anchor stones” cut from the Ark as waters receded; stones have drilled holes and sometimes inscriptions
Kazan (Turkey): Ron Wyatt reported 13 giant drogue stones high above sea level, aligned with a supposed Ark path
Mount Ararat region: The Serapeum and others describe at least 26 massive stones found in the area, interpreted as Ark stabilizers
Durupınar site (Turkey): A natural limonite formation sometimes linked to Ark myths, though geologists confirm it is natural
These claims are not supported by mainstream archaeology, but they remain part of religious and alternative historical narratives.
Scientific Context
From a maritime history perspective:
Drogue stones are well-documented in ancient shipbuilding and are plausible for stabilizing large, unpowered vessels in stormy conditions
No verified archaeological evidence links them definitively to Noah’s Ark; finds in the Ararat region are unconfirmed and often interpreted symbolically or mythologically
In summary: Ancient ballast/drogue stones were real nautical devices for ship stability. Some are found in historical contexts, and certain religious traditions claim they were part of Noah’s Ark, but these claims remain unverified by mainstream science.

But back to your visual about the full stop "dead end" alley in the time-reversal direction back to the beginning...
You reminded me of some recent thought studies.
The end-timers are all "looking forward" to an impending end that somehow is always just ahead, but never arrives.
The established order continues to produce new books, videos, study guides, and other merchandise in anticipation of this end that goes on into the future.
It's like a dog chasing a car. It's all fun and games until the dog catches the car. FULL STOP --

FULL STOP
which is funny because the "bet" of Bereshith contains a dot. Officially it's a dagesh lene, to indicate the "hard plosive sound" (b) versus a soft (v) sound.
(the things that go bump in the night)
Thus for anyone looking for a genuine end point not some nebulous arrival point promised by those who profit from endless promises...
The simple secret is to change directions, to go back 180 to the beginning, to the origin point:
The point at the beginning of a ray is called the "endpoint." A ray is a part of a line that starts at this endpoint and extends infinitely in one direction. Unlike a line segment, which has two endpoints, a ray has only one.
The Sun is the quintessential symbol of hope, always shining forth with its rays of light, warmth, and comfort.
We are sternly warned not to look at the Sun because it'll burn our eyes.
The Prince of Darkness' final show was a charity concert named "Back to the Beginning".
Since Jesus is the only way into Heaven, maybe they think he didn’t really like his mother and kept her out.
I don’t think Jesus operates that way...
The topography suggests to me an old fort. There are similar forts (albeit round, not long like this one) in the British Isles.
Mary (the mother of Jesus): Greeted by the angel Gabriel in Luke 1:28 as one who is “favored” or “full of grace” (depending on the translation).
Maybe Gabriel, the chief heavenly messenger in the Bible, was exaggerating and Mary wasn’t let into Heaven by her son.
I’m not any kind of sectarian; but the Bible seems to identify Mary as a follower of Jesus. That carries the implication that she believed in Him and lived and acted as He taught.
Mainly I just think people should leave others alone in their religious beliefs. (Some people seem more interested in proving that they are the ones who are right than they are in actually BEING right. That comes across as really arrogant.)
To certain humans I’d say that you are right
So-we agree
Nah- Daniel looked ahead wrote that some in their graves will arise to glory and others will wish they’d stayed asleep
I don’t think Gabriel at least it’s not written down said anything of a kind to Mary about being let into the heaven or not
I agree with both points you’ve brought up in this conversation. The question is do you want to be considered as making a point or being considered as making a difference?
No, we don’t.
Nobody here ever asked me to be their ‘difference’. They didn’t ask you, either.
I come here for open minded conversation on interesting topics. This thread started out fun and interesting; but you used it as yet another opportunity to criticize other beliefs.
When you post snotty barbs about other peoples’ sincerely held religious beliefs, they are going to see you as a snotty smart-aleck; not any kind of ‘missionary’ whom they are at all inclined to appreciate. But you can’t seem to see yourself as others see you.
[...wish they’d stayed asleep.]
And you believe that included Mary? Mary who is who is “favored” by God or is “full of grace”?
There is something wrong with you.
Do you believe that the vessel God chose to give birth to his eartly son, that trusted and committed completely to God’s will, would be turned away?
Why do embrace such hate for a true believer and the mother of Jesus?
