CNN upset the first letter will likely to change to L for liberty. No more communist news network.
There seem to be several options for CNN, CBS or any national news network.
1) Emphasize local human interest stories. Avoid political stories.
2) Lean left, big government
3) Lean right, small government
4) Be partisan. When Trump is Big Government oppose him. When Trump is small Government oppose him. (or vice versa).
5) Try to be fair and balanced. Have a small government and a big government pair give both sides. Each side would have staff both on camera...and in the trenches off camera.
6) Fair & Balanced with 1 D, 1 R. The R would have to champion both Massie and Thune at the 2 extremes of R as well as the MAGA in the middle of R.
Broadcast News is not a growth business. When CNN began it was groundbreaking, now it’s unwatchable.

Variety calls the CNN coverage of the first Trump administration “aggressive”. Apparently “duplicitous”, “seditious”, and “treasonous” are too complicated for its readers.
