Women are exactly like men, and should be treated in exactly the same way. Except once in a while, they might have the blues and kill everyone in sight, and society must accommodate that behavior.

In the book Flatland, women (in Flatland) must wiggle back and forth while they walk, and emit a constant sound, called "the peace sign."

This is because Flatland women are one-dimensional lines, with a single eye at one end. Because they are lines, they are invisible at a distance, and can therefore pierce and seriously injure or kill men. Which are of higher dimension, various polygons.

That ship sailed way back in 1979 when the Diminished Capacity was used by defense team to get their male client get off a double murder.

‘...because of hormones’ is an incredible and deceitful simplification of the case and trial. The jury listened to 80+ witnesses and simply did not feel that the prosecution proved its case.

(I wonder if this author actually watched the lousy performance of the two female lawyers for the prosecution.)

“Men are more likely to strike out physically, commit sexual crimes, and give in to testosterone-fueled rages than women.”

It’s just hormones.

‘They have given it a name: “altruistic filicide”.

Altruistic: selfless concern for others. ‘

What about “altruistic homicide”?

I know some people and know of others.

Once famous controversies of the 1970s involved Hubert Humphrey’s doctor, Edgar Berman, arguing that women were unqualified for public office because of their “raging hormonal imbalances,” and TV host David Susskind making a similar argument. In rebuttal, Germaine Greer cited male leaders who held responsible positions in spite of disease and infirmity (not a compelling argument), and asked Susskind to look at her and say whether she was menstruating or not (a little better, but not wholly convincing either).

I have read in respectable sources that 40% of women have a diagnosable neurosis of some form or another.

The number is much higher @60% for Democrats and much lower @20% or Republicans.

Yes...they should not vote or serve in combat..... Or other than office work in the military.

A well informed opinion.
Change my mind.

“Altruistic filicide” is a totally bogus concept!

Lindsay Clancy was a trained nurse, pledged to support life. She is a child murderer, NOT a “victim of hormones”.

The lone holdout male juror is the one who was right—NOT the women jurors who are now going on their disgusting, self-centered tour!

Definitely criminally responsible. PTSD (Subjective excuse making) and being a pharm addict are poor excuses for murdering someone. Searching “Can you treat a sociopath" shows a huge red flag in terms of premeditation since that broke the M’Naghten rule. Also general public has not been shown evidence the jury and a few other people regards to the crime scene. That should be exposed because “leaks” are saying Dawson was strangled looking directly at his murderer while the other children face down. If Dawson was first that would open up a can of worms.

Shows an idiotic precedent not to hold her criminally responsible. May as well not convict anyone of murder who are on scripts. Just look at all the copycats already.

We are women. We are just as good (if not better) than men. But part of the time we’re homicidal maniacs who just might kill our own kids. Or yours. It just our nature, part of our charm, really. Accept it or youre a bigot.

Guys have a lot more of hormones that affect mood, like testosteone. They have no idea how much more control men have over themselves and their emotions than women do. No idea. The few that do were female bodybuilders who took extra t injections, basically double what regular women have, but still 20-50 times less than men depending on age and health, so still way, way less than men, these women got extremely aggressive and angry and self described “horny” all the time, their mood swings were strong and frequent, they said they didn’t know how men could control themselves as they were having a very hard time doing so still with just a small fraction of testosterone the average man has.
