Government’s case and anomalies raised

Charged with a weapons-of-mass-destruction offense related to the inert (non-explosive) devices left near the RNC and DNC on January 6. Held without bond despite no flight risk or danger to the community; family offered house arrest, ankle monitor, etc., and was refused.
Family was shown still images of a gray-hooded figure and asked if it looked like Brian or his hoodie; they said they could not identify him.
No bomb-making materials were described to the family as having been found in the home. Agents left Brian’s legally owned firearm in the house.
Surveillance of Brian appears to have begun only after media reports (around October 2025) publicly named a different person—former Capitol Police officer Shawnee Kirchhoff (now reportedly working security at CIA headquarters)—as a possible suspect. Brian was arrested roughly a month later (early November/December timeline given). Kirchhoff has denied involvement.

2) Groomed Brian as a stooge and coached him through buying the bomb materials, travelling to the DNC/RNC HQs, perhaps actually making and planting the devices (while thinking he was “helping” with national security)?
3) Something else?
4) Do they claim other agencies were involved, or just the FBI? If so, who?

I don’t really expect anyone to answer all above — I just parsing possibilities.
