I’d like to offer an update on the Canadian-American trade spat.
Earlier, I had staged it. I said stage one was surprise on both sides of the border that two neighbors who spoke the same language, had the same civilizational origins in Britain, were close neighbors, and had the largest undefended border in the world were at a point of very angry disagreement.
The second stage was that Prime Minister Mark Carney started to suggest that the United States was solely culpable, was a bully, and had forced him to cancel the agreement at the 11th hour late on a Friday afternoon without warning.
And he said that the United States tried to impugn or intercede or limit, prune back, whatever term you use, Canadian sovereignty, both by telling Canada that it couldn’t import cheap Chinese EV vehicles or that it could not import cheap steel and aluminum from China that were really, to be fair, dumped below the cost of production as a way of getting around American tariffs via being used for assembling autos or vehicles in Canada and then shipped into the United States at a cheap price.
And he accused us of trying to squelch Canadian and indigenous Canadian expression. In other words, our digital media companies were so successful in bringing the news and social media accounts to Canada that people who wanted to get the indigenous voice out and the French voice out couldn’t, and therefore he was going to unilaterally tax us 5% on top of corporate income tax, which nobody else does.
We don’t tell Canadian broadcasters or Canadian newspapers we’re gonna tax you so you include the particular culture of the San Joaquin Valley of California.

I think we should annex Canada and Greenland as territories, not states.
The CCP is going to start claiming Arctic territories and sea lanes that Canada and Denmark think they control.. but they have no means of defending against such advances.
Moreover, with Canada’s fragile economy, they are likely to sell out to China when push cones to shove.
It is not on our best interest for Canada to sell out to and be controlled by the CCP - to say the least. We cannot leave decisions affecting our national security up to Canada and Denmark.
I would not be surprised if President Trump is needling Canada’s leaders with the aim of stirring up ill will between the American People and the Canadians, so that when the time comes to make a move, we will support it.
Right now Americans think too fondly of Canadians to approve of any kind of takeover - but that will change fast if they keep booing us at sports events.
Did the Carney barker win the popular vote?
What am I getting at? Canada has 79 jets, and they’re 45 years old. Seventy-nine. Seventy-nine. I think California’s National Guard has almost as many. It has about 30 large, considerable ships rather than speedboats, but 30, 35 maybe. It has no military. It hasn’t kept its promises. It has welched.

“Trump will be campaigning non stop”
CBS: Trump voters are 26% of electorate. In GA they stayed home and did not vote in the primary. For Republicans to win they need to TURNOUT and vote.
At the same time, Trump is very unpopular with most voters. CBS listed the reasons:
#1. The war in Hormuz has fueled gas prices and inflation.
#2. Voters are against Trump tariffs. The case has not been made.
#3. ICE. CBS didnt break this down. I will. Voters are for deporting those who
- murder, rape....DUI, Drunk n Disorderly
- give aid and comfort to terrorists and enemies of the US
- apply for welfare
- lie on visa and other documents
Voters dont want to waste money deporting those who work hard, take care of family, sit beside us in church.
Big mistake when Bovino types took the headlines off welfare fraud, murders, rapists, political corruption and put the headline on protestors.
How does Trump convince his MAGA followers to TURNOUT and vote without motivating the others against those same candidates?

Leftists want voters to believe that “climate change” is real. Not only for their phony baloney jobs, but also if average gas prices are high, it gets them votes. Iran and the media are aware of that, and want to help their dem allies by keeping the war hot.
Carney tried to capitalize on what he thought would help him politically, playing against Trump, spouting nonsense and assuming crazy positions.
He’ll try to blame the the US for the misery he creates / created.
Carney is an idiot.
If Trump says the sky is blue, he’ll immediately give a press conference on how it can also be white, or gray.
It’s just go against Trump, even if it make no sense!
For example, the US is asking Canada not to let Chinese cars flood the North American market.
Hint: Canada also has a car industry (Ford, GM, Chrysler)...

As protectionist this sounds, it is necessary to survive. The simple honest truth is, no one can compete with them. No one.
Average hourly wage in China for manufacturing: $5.30 an hour. Lower costs for water, electrical power, no OSHA, EPA, nor ridiculous EEO and other labor laws and union crap they have to deal with which ultimately all have costs that get built into the product (the really cool sounding maturity leave, etc). There is just no way to compete with them, not the Germans, US, French, UK, Italians, Japanese, or Koreans.

Do the writer's of these article realize that the network for distribution, sales, and advertising is not really in place. What they try to sell as a story downplaying concerns, is actually scary news. Someone selling 16,000 cars in the EV market alone, in 6 months alone, in Canada alone, without being set up for massive sales (not even trying!), no name/brand recognition... That's HUGE!!!
Why? Because humans are rational beings after all (hard concept for a socialist to follow, I know). If you have two options that are directly comparable, but one is 1/3 - 1/2 the cost, where do you think people will go?
Anyone in the automotive business, even in Canada, reading this, should ask themselves if we let the Chinese in, like Carney wants, will I have a job in 5 - 10 years?
What do you think the answer is?
