Nvidia is amazing……aboit half of their employees are worth $25 million

Nvidia once again reported blow earnings yesterday. Their stock (along with many other chip companies) is absolutely unbelievable.

They have 42,000 employees, and about half are now worth $25 million or more!!!

Amazing.

Exactly was my situation. As as mid-level manager, I was awarded company shares for Christmas bonus. But shares were not publicly traded, so no way to cash them in. Eventually my outfit was bought by another company whose shares were listed on NYSE. Then I was able to trade the share.

I understand, but it seems Nvidia’s forward guidance for the next couple of years shows it is not really overpriced right now and still has a long way to go.

Its forward PE is much less than its growth rate, which usually shows it is still on the upswing.

This is capitalism! There would be very far fewer multimillionaires with socialism.

In Florida, we have Publix grocery stores. Their motto is “where it is a pleasure to shop“. They do very well, even though their prices are high. Part of every employee’s paycheck is some stocks. They are part owners and proud of it. It really is a pleasure to shop there.

I combine shopping at Publix with shopping at Aldi. I really like both stores.

I’m not sure it’s a bubble...it’s being integrated more and more everyday into practically every industry. It might see a temporary downturn, like the dotcom era, but, just like the dotcom era, it’ll then continue to become an area of continued massive growth.

Agreed, there are 4,767 data centers now, with thousands more planned, not to mention the hyperscalers. The only restraint on NVDA now is supply, they just can’t produce enough. That’s why their gross profit margin is an incredible 75%.
