FDA approves ‘life-altering’ pancreatic cancer drug that nearly doubles life expectancy

The US Food and Drug Administration announced today that it has approved a groundbreaking new treatment option for pancreatic cancer.

Manufactured by Revolution Medicines, daraxonrasib made headlines earlier this year when former US Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., shared details about his experience with the drug — which left his skin bloody and “bubbling” but is also giving him more time with his family amid his battled with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

It would mean a lot if it were your life.

I knew I was going to be misunderstood. It's not nothing, obviously, but they make it sound like a cure for PC has been found. And yes Vermont Lt, I am very well aware of the research going on in cancer vaccines. I posted an article on the pancreatic cancer vaccine a couple of weeks ago.

That’s not for you to decide!

Correct. It is between you and God. I can't force you do do jack shit. I am only advocating for every precious moment of life. YMMV. WWJD.

She had MALT lymphoma. And there are case studies, involving a few patients, who had a good response to this type of cancer with the iver/meben protocol.

>>So if you’re going to die in 2 months you get 4 instead?

My first thought as well...guess its progress, but having watched someone die from it up close and personal, I am not sure they would have been interested in extending their demise by a couple of months.

Understand. These ‘cures’ are usually not cures. They only extend the life expectancy. Sometimes that extension only seems modest to those who aren’t facing their imminent demise.

I’m sure there was a lot of pushback on the thread you posted since the ‘vaccine’ is a mRNA variant. Too many hear mRNA and immediately reject the benefits.

That said, one must be very inquisitive of reported effectiveness, absolute versus relative effectiveness.

Doubling life expectancy after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis still isn’t very long.

Dr Makis has had good results with a Fenben and Ivm protocol, on this.

Prayers up, for all afflicted.

The jabs have caused a definite uptick, sadly.

What’s life-altering (hype in the title) about that?

That’s great that things worked out for your wife. They need to do formal studies checking out ivermectin and the rest to see exactly what they may do for cancer. There’s certainly been a lot of anecdotal stories of these drugs working.

The problem is that Big Pharma, the major sponsor of such studies, has little incentive to undertake such for drugs from which they cannot make a profit. Government-sponsored studies? But even governmental officials seem to be influenced, in some curious manner, by drug company interests.

Also, the work of Thomas Seyfried et al had a major influence on our therapeutic decisions. It makes the cancer-diet nexus understandable. Also why something such as ivermectin could have a place in cancer treatment.

Yes I’m familiar with Siegfried and the rest of them and am myself using a ton of alternative cancer therapies. I have lung cancer, caught early, no mets. Had radiation to shrink it and am currently on a checkpoint inhibitor. I too decided to hold off on the chemo, at least for now. Over 95% of my tumor expresses the PDL-1 mutation so chances are the checkpoint inhibitor I take will work extremely well on that or so I hope.

He has young kids. I think most people would do whatever they could if they thought it would extend their life.

Thanks. Fortunately mine was caught early so the prognosis is better than with most lung cancers. And they keep coming up with new treatments all the time. I personally have a large investment in a biotech developing 2 different cancer vaccines both of which look to be effective.
