What has happened to FR? People are advocating for President Trump's removal, making sarcastic remarks, Saying the TRump era is over. President Trump has righted the economy, ended Iran's nuclear weapons threat and is the greatest President since Reagan. He deserves better than this. He already has the RINOS in Congress against him, he needs his base fired up and ready to vote! THe RATS are highly motivated to steal this election. Have some courage and get behind out President!
You are chasing imaginary weapons.
Anybody can get imaginary weapons at some future date.
By your logic we should be invading a dozen different countries—not including the ones that already have nukes.
lol. Of course you do, or else you wouldn’t post them. =)
"FR old timers" are not good at debating.
Perhaps they should take a course in "Rhetoric".
Trump could have be one of the greatest transformational Presidents ever but then he started a war.
I noticed when I posted this list in another thread where a Freeper was doing something similar, there was no response:
So which of these things do you dislike? :
1. Stock market up 23% since January 2025
2. Illegal border crossings near zero
3. Venezuelan dictatorship of Maduro gone.
4. Dozens of U.S. hostages returned to the U.S.
5. The United States is the largest producer and seller of oil in the world and controls another large producer called Venezuela.
6. U.S. trade deficits down significantly.
7. U.S. murder rate falls dramatically for two years— especially in cities like DC—44%
8. More than 90% of primary picks winning like Ken Paxton over dolt John Cornyn.
9. Gained several prospective Republican house seats by urging redistricting in states like Florida and Texas.
10. U.S. federal government employment declines at record levels.
11. VA service times cut in half.
I sincerely believe that our nation has since the inception of the Republican Party with Lincoln had an epistemic obsession with demonizing Republican Presidents: Lincoln, Harding, Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Trump. This means that universities (think Woodrow Wilson and the like) the major urban cities (New York, Chicago, LA) all work and produce public rhetoric in professional forums that create the false impression that there is truly nothing worse than a Republican President.
In current parlance, Republican Presidents are worse than Hitler and the KKK. They are in fact a combination of those two evils— even thought those evils came from the Left. I fought a similar battle about GWB in 2006-2009 here. Still like Bush much better than Gore and Kerry. It was never even close.
But people are easily manipulated into hating Republican Presidents. I firmly believe that the next Republican President— like Trump is now— will be predicted on hating Trump. I will not agree with that underlying logic either. We are not being wise as serpents in my opinion. The culture of who controls the messaging is completely lost on too many FREEpers.
I am glad you made this point.
We are chasing real weapons that have not yet been assembled because we blew the sh*t out of their equipment and their supply.
Do not make the silly mistake of thinking the Iranians are done trying to assemble their weapon.
By your logic we should be invading a dozen different countries—not including the ones that already have nukes.
I have always followed the Curtis LeMay school of thought on nuclear proliferation. I think it was a mistake to allow Pakistan and North Korea to develop them, but not nearly so big of a mistake as it would be to allow Religious fanatics in Iran to have them.
Great post!
Stiff Arm to the face, by the Federal Bond Debt. ✖️
Iran has been 2 weeks away from having a nuke for 47 years.
In the meantime this suicidal cult has kept attacking us and our interests, whether through direct actions, proxies like the Houthis attacking international shipping, or activating Arab-Nazi Hamas to commit egregious atrocities in order to stop things like the Abraham Accords.
In an age when normal Americans can’t afford to buy homes, Trump not only arrogantly says: “We’re not going to destroy the value of their homes so that somebody that didn’t work very hard can buy a home. I don’t want to drive housing prices down. I want to drive housing prices up for people who own their homes.”
I seriously doubt Trump trusts the savage fanatics.
Critics do also underestimate/overlook each the logistical challenges of carrying out a prolonged war from a naval platform, the ability for us to restock during pauses, and our ability to watch the IRGC supply operations in order to identify new targets after we blew up what we knew of and just assume that if they can’t see it, nothing is happening.
Obviously, murdering their leaders on February 28 has made acquiring nuclear weapons imperative for the survivors.
The world is “painful” buttercup.
Then Hormuz must be flowing freely.
We must absolutely not allow the Iranian Religious fanatics to get their hands on nukes.
It is an interesting observation. Here is a portion of a comment which seems to have slipped by others who comment on the long thread. It read, in part:
Even if you are a committed Republican, if you are not very happy with your party's candidate, examine if a Socialist leaning Dem who is likely to win is, and has advisors. of a Scandinavian variety or dictatorial variety of Socialism. In the short run a vote for the Scandinavian variety of socialism might be a better choice than any Republican who has enjoyed too much coolade. As elected socialists have a chance to prove their stuff, failures will encourage voters to move in more centrist directions. Thus it is important to avoid voting for any dictatorial politicians from right or left.Nifty strategy there, eh? Vote for a socialist so they can screw up so more....
Aside from the comment [ 4,004 posted on 8/15/2026, 4:05:50 PM , one observes that those commenting thereafter seems to 1) paid no attention, and/or 2) had no return comment.
So, "the Scandinavian variety of socialism might be a better choice than any Republican who has enjoyed too much coolade" is now a verified entry into the FR thread which I would label using your words -- "the left-leaning Ukraine crowd."
Note that those pinged seemed not to have responded as yet to "vote for the socialist." Yup.
>>”Obviously, murdering their leaders on February 28 has made acquiring nuclear weapons imperative for the survivors.”
And obviously, bombing the sh*t out of their enrichment facilities has made that “imperative” exceedingly unlikely to ever reach fruition.
Well, I would pitch in and lead a hand but....someone just might call me a.....racist. (sob, sniff).
