Most, I would say.......
Kroger also owns the Tom Thumb convenience store chain and has been slowly converting them to their Cumberland Farms brand. I have noticed that the conversions suddenly stopped a while ago in our area so now, for a while at lest, we have both..........

Higher crime areas also tend to have higher labor rates, higher energy costs, higher taxation, and higher amounts of regulation.
It’s not just the crime.

The Kroger that closed in my area was in a s**t-hole part of town and wasn’t kept up very well. The other Krogers are newer/nicer and in safer places.

Most are closing in hood areas where theft is a major problem.
