People, especially Independents and Libertarians, are now wise to the route the Democrat elites used on Democrat Party voters in 2020 (which was "Don't support Bernie. Bernie can't win a general election. Support Biden or you'll get fascism!") and they'll spot a similar approach from a mile away for 2026 and 2028 of "Don't vote for such and such person or you'll get Communism!"

🚨 1/2 Be careful to not slip into confirmation bias. The following was a good poll that CNN reported on for MAGA back in March 2026 yet this poll being reported on now also by CNN is far from good:

🚨🚨 2/2 The GOP pretending the current system is 100% “free market capitalism” is the problem when the current system has devolved over decades to now an overwhelmingly oligarchical, crony capitalist system rife with corruption and nepotism.

The GOP calling this capitalism, telling people to eat Ramen, ignoring that (as Matt Walsh said there was a time when the poor had more flexibility in affording fast food than now which has disappeared), and denying the current reality of near-complete lack of affordability for many items, will only breed more “anti-capitalists.”

Quit arguing AGAINST socialism.

Argue FOR ending all Corporate Welfare.

Argue for no government investment in private corporations.

Google AI: “The U.S. government has rapidly expanded this practice into a broader portfolio strategy. While direct equity ownership used to be rare and limited to emergency bailouts, recent federal initiatives have secured direct equity or quasi-equity stakes in roughly 30 private companies across critical tech, mineral, and industrial sectors.”

Argue FOR ending fiat currency, print/borrow and spend til you drop. Argue FOR dismantling the oligarchical, crony capitalist system rife with corruption and nepotism and how you’re going to do it.

Video Transcript Summary

CNN data analyst Harry Enten (speaking with host John Berman) reports a sharp drop in support for the MAGA movement and Donald Trump among non-college adults—the core demographic that powered Trump’s presidential wins.

Key points from the polling trends he presents:

Bottom line of the analysis: The working-class/non-college voters who formed the foundation of the MAGA/Trump coalition are moving away from both the movement and Trump himself, and the same trend is appearing in congressional preference—posing a significant threat to Republicans ahead of the midterms. (The segment ends with thanks to “Harold Dutton,” which appears to be a misstatement or reference in the transcript for the analyst/presenter.)

One more:

Matt Walsh

“Not to change the subject from burritos but when I was earning poverty wages in my 20s I used to go to Subway nearly every day and get a footlong Italian sub for 5 dollars. It was generally the only big meal I would eat in a day.

If I was hungry later at night, I could always swing by McDonald’s and grab a chicken sandwich for a dollar.

All of these people are screaming about “eating at home” but I basically never made meals at home in those days and I was able to get by. You used to be able to survive on low wages without making meals from scratch. If that’s not possible anymore then it’s a sign that our standard of living is declining. That’s a problem. You should care about that.

Anyway, I went to a Subway recently and that same sandwich was 13 dollars. McDonald’s, of course, doesn’t sell anything for a dollar anymore.”

Voting doesn’t really matter if the will of the people isn’t heeded. I’m talking about CONgress. Obviously having the majority doesn’t matter. They’ll continue blocking Trumps agenda and the will of the people. How about all those pro forma sessions???

Don’t confuse MAGA with the GOP.

I support MAGA. The GOP, not so much.

These people are NOT going to vote Democrat..but the problem right now is that Trump keeps going on TV and saying how great things are and that America is “Back” no its not. Everything is still very expensive. For example we used to buy Perdue chicken for 8.99 on sale at Whole Foods Market, now the same chicken, on sale is 10.19 on sale, I dont know if its tariffs or what it is but prices have gone up and lying about it isnt helping anyone. Now Biden’s Administration did the same thing, say everything was hunky dory and paid the price, we cant do the same thing just cause its our guy in the white house

Non-college voters, the base of the MAGA movement? I would like to see the data on that. Just another BS story written by assh*les.

Maybe the poll represents not dissatisfaction with MAGA but rather the feeling that Trump has abandoned or neglected the cause in favor or corporate statism with AI and foreign entanglement in Iran that allows inflation to stay alive ?

Trump has done little to help the Middle Class, window dressing at best. It was horrible under Biden but not much better under Trump... Now if you are a buddy of Trump and rich you are making out like a bandits...

The forecast from early in the 2016 primary race came from senior political analyst Harry Enten:

“Why Donald Trump Isn’t a Real Candidate."

“Trump has a better chance of cameoing in another ‘Home Alone’ movie with Macaulay Culkin—or playing in the NBA Finals—than winning the Republican nomination.”

Corrupt liberal elite pollsters got tired of announcing every few months that MAGA was leaving Trump. So now they have a new way to phrase their old lies.

Working class people don't fall for commie lies. Liberal elite pollsters are WRONG again. It's always loser sons and daughters of wealthy liberals who can't get a job after elite prep schools and four years of college at 'the best' schools - studying 'grievance issues' or journalism...

IF American commies run a candidate for President who's like them - it'll be Hunter Biden - a loser who had it all given to him on a platter and is still an angry privileged little brat. Hunter still uses a prep school type backpack rather than a briefcase. Is that telling or what? He 'peaked' in high school. Hunter Biden IS the face of the commie revolution here... .
Poor little overindulged rich kid/brat.

Yeah, sure. CNN citing Marquette Law School.

From google AI:

“While the Marquette Law School Poll maintains a strong academic reputation, it has experienced notable misses beyond the presidential races—predominantly overestimating Democratic candidates and underestimating Republican turnout in Wisconsin state elections.”

Tom Massie, Rand Paul lean libertarian Republican. Many in MAGA and FR chase them out of the coalition to make the coalition smaller.

They also chase MTG out of the coalition. But she is not consistent on the issues and can’t be labeled on issues.

Tucker, Candace, etal seem mostly ego and personal money and fame based and not ideological. I think they should be chased out of the coalition, unlike Massie and Paul who should be welcomed in the coalition.
