Eric Swalwell's past romance with Stephen Miller's now-WIFE revealed amid reported 'Fang Fang' drama

Eric Swalwell once dated Katie Miller, the woman now married to Trump's top deputy Stephen Miller, and the long-buried romance has reportedly surfaced at the center of the fight over the FBI's 'Fang Fang' files.
Lawyers for the disgraced former Democratic lawmaker brought up the relationship as they battled to stop the Justice Department from making public its investigative file on his ties to suspected Chinese spy Christine Fang, according to the Sources Say newsletter.
Fang, who fled to China in 2015 as the FBI closed in, spent years cozying up to rising California Democrats, helping bundle donations for Swalwell's 2014 re-election campaign and even placing an intern in his congressional office.
Swalwell severed all ties and cooperated with investigators after agents warned him about her in a defensive briefing, and the probe ended without charges. But the scandal has dogged him since it burst into public view in 2020.
As the FBI pushed to release its investigative files on the matter earlier this year, Swalwell's legal team reportedly claimed that the Trump administration publicizing the documents would look like a punitive bid to weaponize the department against him.
Miller told Sources Say that she had no idea her history with Swalwell had ever been raised with the Justice Department.
She was 22 and an intern when the decade-old relationship began, a source familiar with the matter told the Daily Mail. The pair have not spoken or seen each other for years.
The romance fizzled out long before she got together with her now-husband of six years, one of Donald Trump's most trusted aides with whom she shares four children.

That’s too bad...I have fond memories even of a failed 1st marriage after 18 years and the second one was close to 50 years when my husband passed away 5 years ago...The first one involved marrying a childhood sweetheart and should have worked/lasted longer but~~~~~one never knows...

Who is this? Is that Stephen Miller’s wife? I think we saw a little bit of her at the first WH Correspondents Dinner but not enough to tell if that’s her in this pic. Glad she got rid of Swalwell - Stephen is a much better choice!

I would not even consider dating a female that dated that creep.

Sounds like a Seinfeld episode.

Since when does “once dated” mean having sex?
I never said "Having sex". I said "canoodled", which as I understand it, falls short of "having sexual relations". I had never dated a known pro-abort woman as an adult. I would expect a healthy woman to not go near a known pro-abort man. If dating means more than having lunch together because we were classmates once upon a time, or an informal get-together to discuss a business matter, I would consider a woman whose judgment includes spending time out in anthing that could be called a date with the likes of Eric Swalwell to be a disqualifying factor.

You probably “made love” like that lyrics of a Sinatra song oo. Language changes over time, but you know that.

It is Katie Miller. Just a bad photo. It happens all all the time....that’s what keeps the tabloids in business...capturing celebs looking bad.

Hopefully he’s buried to where we won’t have to see his rear in politics again.

How do you know she’s not a nice girl?
I didn't say she wasn't nice. She has just shown poor judgment. I am saying Stephen Miller could probably have found a nice girl who doesn't spend social evenings with men who vote to kill babies. He can have both NICE and GOOD JUDGMENT.
If this happened long enough ago that Swalwell's ideology wasn't known, that might be different. I doubt that is the case.

Scads! That's probably why I didn't wind up getting married until I was 34. I have no regrets, as we recently celebrated Year #29. But yes, if I marry a woman who thought that being okay with killing her baby or to be close to a man who felt that was was within the Overton Window of possibilities, she is not for me. Each of us only has to find one. I am grateful that I did.

Short answer: Yes.
Do you think politicians date interns for their witty conversation? Short answer: No
Do you think that sleazy creep Swalwell ever dated anyone for anything less than sex? I’m betting: No.
