A friend from Cebu, Philippines, told me that he grew up eating avocados with milk and, I think he said, sugar on them. Has anyone ever heard of that?

He also said he only likes them fresh off the tree. I can understand that. Fresh fruit in Guatemala completely ruined unfresh fruit for me.
