The Vance children will take care of the chickens and have already named them. The left just found out about this and they are going bonkers. I heard a story about one leftist who wants the VP arrested.
Stories like this never end well. My stepfather had is daughters (my step-sisters) raise chickens. The girls came to view them as pets. Then one day they had a chicken dinner and my stepfather let slip where it came from . . . . .
Chickens are a fabulous way to teach children discipline and commitment.
My son has built a coop and has 11 chickens. The 5 young children are in charge of care, feeding and egg gathering. Of course the chickens all have names.
And the eggs are WAYYYYYY better than the store bought crap.
EC
Isn’t that Jefferson’s place?
Awesome.
And of course the left is going bonkers.
Chicken Condominium....................
You can take the Hillbilly out of the hills...

This is one of the best methods of teaching children responsibility.
I had a flock of 200 birds, free range. The deal was that my children took turns watering, feeding, and gathering the eggs. They got all the money from selling eggs and I paid for the feed. That was their allowance.
My daughter was four years old, and the big mean white rooster used to chase her and flop her every time she went to collect eggs. She came in the house crying, feeling overwhelmed and helpless.
I gave her one of those big “Fat Albert” whiffle ball bats and went with her to the chicken house. At first she was timid and afraid, until her swing hit a home run on the rooster coming at her. Soon she was chasing the rooster with the bat. It never came near her again.
That single event changed my daughter’s personality in a very positive way. No longer was she timid in life. I used to joke that I pitied my daughter’s future husband as she wore the pants.
I taught the kids how to hypnotize chickens and they would play a game to see how many chickens they could hypnotize and line up on the fence rail.
I highly recommend a flock of chickens to teach children responsibility. I’ll never forget my son eating breakfast and I asked him if he fed the chickens. (They were always to be fed before we ate.) He replied “No, I’m hungry.” I replied, “So are the chickens and they can’t feed themselves.” Lesson learned.
That’s very nice.....
How about he does his CONSTITUTIONALLY MANDATED JOB and preside over the senate...
Every day it is in session....
He calls it to order, dismisses it for the day, and can send it into recess, you know, the kind where one or two guys simply cannot call the senate to order and, ya know, let the president make recess appointments...
Hmmmmmm, I wonder.....
Coffee and Covid had a great take on this a short while back.
Jeff Childers is Awesome!
WGAF?
Democrats have one too but it’s called Hotel California and it’s full.
He is trying so hard these days…..
Tried turkeys....eggs a a quarter pound,,,usually about 3 a week,
One time one of the turkeys escaped....seems she went to hang out with the wild ones,,,in our neighborhood were brown.
Sure enough,,,our turkey returned home after about a month ...and there were some brown and white mixed in with the wild ones,
Goats are fun animals we had a few...spare goats were "re-located" to the freezer...and I had matching sets of pelts for sale as seat covers.
the chickens are slaves
Slave eggs produced in Washington DC. Travesty.
Slave chickens must be free!
“Founded in 2008 by Matt and Gnon DuBoise, the company began as a personal quest for fresh eggs and grew into a globally recognized business known for its craftsmanship, woodworking and animal care.”
It just grew into a global company! LOL. Reminds me of the documentaries about iconic musicians who simply got a cheap guitar when they were 13 and then a record deal and presto! they’re a major super star with 12 Grammys and 20 top 10 hit songs. So just get a guitar or a chicken coop and you’ll be bajillionaire!
Good. Let him care for the chickens and let a non-politican be president who will downsize the mostly unconstitutional gov’t.
And secret service can take care of any foxes or raccoons that enter the property.
i also have a custom, American-made chicken coop in my back yard
