Boy George has split from the manager of his record label after he refused to release his controversial pro-Israel song.
On Saturday, the singer confirmed on social media that he had parted ways with Tony Pontius, calling the executive, who had run his record label, BGP, for several years, "gutless".
"I wanted to release We Will Dance Again, but he [Pontius] was unequivocal and said, 'I want nothing to do with this song', and I responded, 'ok, we are done'," the former Culture Club front man wrote on X.
"When someone is gutless, it really does not hurt to say goodbye. My faith in humanity will not diminish and the truth will always win. I will release it!"

I was thinking it but wasn’t going to say it.........
I don’t want to tell artists how to be artists. They have first Amendment rights, and I respect that. As Americans, if he wants to sing a pro-Israeli song, so be it. I don’t have to listen to any of them, that’s my right.
The label manager was refusing to publish it..............
Good for Boy George. 😁🤙
A friend met him in NYC and said that he was an azzhole and probably someone you don’t want to mess with.
“We Will Dance Again”
Great, only next time maybe not 3 miles from the border on the anniversary of a major war.
Surprisingly
😀😀😀
You are right.
I’m sure Israel will make Boy George Grand Marshal at the 2027 pride parade
I am glad at least one person got it.
How about making him an honorary member of the IDF?
