A family of seven who tucked into an expensive feast brazenly left an Orlando restaurant without paying, it has been claimed.
The group were caught on surveillance footage consuming a spread worth $300 before leaving @ The Diner, apparently without settling their hefty tab on Sunday.
The Florida restaurant is now seeking to identify the alleged dine-and-dashers, who are said to have taken off during its busiest shift of the day.
It wrote on Instagram that the family ordered multiple dishes and appeared to enjoy a leisurely meal before carrying out their premeditated escape in stages.
The restaurant, which shared footage of the incident, alleged that staff only realized what had happened after the group had already left the premises, leaving servers scrambling to work out what had gone wrong.
In the clip, a man wearing a white vest is seen leading the group’s exit, handing another woman in the group car keys as she slips away before pulling up in the getaway car outside.
Moments later, he quickly follows behind with a young boy in tow.
The clip shows the rest of the group remaining at the table, eagerly helping themselves to the extensive spread before another woman and a young girl make their move towards the exit.

It IS NOT “always them”, but it is “very frequently them”, with the percentage being so far out of proportion that a betting man would notice and play the odds.
And as with Muslims, if the regulars do not get pissed off at the extremists, then I lose sympathy for the regulars.
Many decades ago, I had a Muslim roommate who DID condemn extremist Muslims and who believed religious freedom was part of what made America the greatest country in the world. He was the last Muslim I met like that...but he was a great guy! But in the decades since, the Muslims I’ve met would not call out and condemn extremists. So screw them all.
I’m wondering about another way to approach this problem. How about a loud signal of some sort that could be set off the moment the restaurant recognizes that the bill wasn’t paid. That way, the rest of all the patrons would recognize this little caper had just taken place. Maybe even have a gated area for parking if the theft (that’s what it is)could be caught later, but just before they all pulled out. Of course, the last guy out is going to be the “payee” unless he turns the tables on the real criminal.
