Trump was going to be impeached regardless of going to war or not. He didnt go to war in his first term and was impeached, for nonsense, so they would impeach him again for breathing if they had to

An ongoing unpopular war makes Rat control of Congress more likely, and thus another impeachment of Trump. Trump's refusal to comport himself to follow the War Powers Act makes even Republican senators more likely to vote to convict him of that. Sen. Rand Paul comes to mind. How many more might join him? At least Collins and Murkowski likely would.
