Went and saw Supergirl with my comic loving teenager. Don’t know why other than the actresses comments in an interview this movie is being dissed around here. Nothing political. Comic loving son said character was pretty accurate. Go see it. Even pluggedin online said it was fine.
We should support the efforts toward normality. Last year’s Superman was really good and sort of old school hero. Same with this movie.
Nothing woke that I could find in it.

I’m the original poster. My teenage kid wanted to see the movie. We didn’t hate it and had a good time.
Can’t say I’ve ever come across them. Must be marginal.
And, no, I’m not a hater of the Critical Drinker. I agree with his views.
It’s just that, once you’ve seen one “review”, you’ve seen them all. The schtick is boring and what-was-once-original is now old hat.
Like Hollywood, it’s time for new material.
“I will continue to watch The Drinker and I guess I’ll never get the chance to give your content a try to see if you could do it better.”
Good for you. But you will burn oil I produce in your car.
Thanks for the money! I’m enjoying Aspen during this heat wave. It’s 69 on my deck.
The best reviews are from Mr. Plinkett. Way better than the movies he reviews. Plus they made the excellent “Space Cop” movie.

Very much worth the time watching them and “Space Cop.” (In the same category as Idiocracy and Kung Fury)

There is so much good stuff on line and independent I haven’t spent a penny on hollyweird stuff since ‘Expendables’ and that was only because El Rushbo said it was a fun movie.
I remember thinking my parents were old fogies for not going to the movies.
Well, they went for 10 cents.
Now, here I am, seeing ticket prices I won’t pay.
Wonder Woman was also a fun movie. They managed to make a character everyone wanted to be. Girls and women would love to be Dianna and boys and men would have loved to be Steve Trevor.
I prefer Helen Slater, Peter O’Toole, and Faye Dunaway.

Yeah, the marketing makes it sound like Supergirl is some angst ridden Gen Z. I don’t need to go to the movies to see that. I have one at home!
Didn’t get the joke did ya?
Had to get mad at me for that.
Someone once said “you should get out more”.
I do believe Tom Cruise owns the MI franchise, right?
It would be his decision.
I recall being at a video store with a guy buying porn for his teenage kid. I consider this the same for drunks. That is if the review is accurate.
The Drinkers name is Will Jordan and his main novel series is based on a U.S. agent named Ryan Drake. He also has stand alone novels. His movie reviews are a hobby.
Yeah. That's a problem in a lot of Chinese restaurants.
🤪
My bad, I should have clarified. I meant Christopher.
Okay. Give me a clue. Where was the joke?
There’s no need to fear.
Underdog is here.😏
So…me taking my conservative Christian teen to see the movie Supergirl is the equivalent of you watching some dude buy porn for his kid? ??? Mmmmkkkk.
