Show us which clause in the Constitution can we find the entitlement for SNAP/EBT? If the judge were actually versed in the Constitution, she’d rule against the program altogether.
You have no idea what the Constitution is all about do you.
We all know why she’s trying to pull this sht.....it has absolutely nothing to do with what food can be purchased with SNAP.....It’s about thwarting the evil Orange Man every chance they get.
Why can’t we have some conservative district judge somewhere passing pronouncements? How would the USSC rule if a judge had the fortitude to say “It’s not in the constitution, so it’s up to the states or the people”
Finally, some common sense being applied here. Thank you!
It’s spending... authorized by Congress. 100% constitutional.
That said, we have a long history of having executive branch agencies writing the rules of implementation of such programs. I highly doubt original legislation was so detailed as to prevent HHS from making these kinds of low-level decisions.
