I am reminded of the BBC production of I CLAUDIUS and what Livia said to the gladiators.
“THESE GAMES ARE BEING DEGRADED BY PROFESSIONAL TRICKS TO STAY ALIVE!”
LOL! I am reminded of old family squabbles over inheritances in the past in which the Lawyers ended up with most of it.
Next line as I remember that scene was where Livia threatens them - “I’ll break this guild up. I’ll send the lot of you to mines of Numidia!”.

Got the whole program I Claudius on DVD! Love it! Also read the books I Claudius and Claudius the God.
My daughter back in high school did for a Latin project that whole scene with Livia. Dressed up as Livia did it in Latin!
