U.S. — The nation was thrown into a state of shock on Tuesday afternoon, as a jury in Texas ruled that you can't just stab someone in the heart for no reason at all.
The case of one person taking a knife out of their bag to stab another person in the heart for no reason at all had legal experts and the public all scratching their heads, wondering what the legal outcome might be. The members of the jury in the Collin County District courtroom rocked the nation after it came out to announce their verdict that stabbing someone in the heart for no reason at all is "bad" and what some might call "murder."
Amazingly, the jury went on to read out a guilty verdict to the accused heart-stabber on the charge of first-degree murder.
"Honestly, we didn't know which way this case would go," said criminal defense attorney Anthony Pitaki. "With today's activist judges, you can do all sorts of violent things in America and get away with it normally. This was a surprising outcome."
"This court case is a real wake-up call to the people carrying knives in this country with the expectation that they can stab anyone they choose in the heart for no reason at all and get zero consequences."
At publishing time, the nation wondered if not being able to stab someone in the heart for no reason at all might set a precedent for criminalizing other acts of violence.

Black people are entitled to kill whites.
As the protesters chanted “the only good cracker is a dead cracker.”
Karmelo Anthony should be shocked via the electric chair. Condolences to family and friend of Austin Metcalf. How much will Karmelo’s “justice” cost over his lifetime?
In Texas, 35 years usually means less than 5 behind bars. They lie to juries and tell them they have to serve at least half their sentence.
Anthony need not even bother unpacking for his short prison stay.
The only way justice will happen is if another prisoner gives Anthony back what he dealt out.
Oh it’s open season on White people.....especially White women.
“In Texas, 35 years usually means less than 5 behind bars”
You need bring the receipts on that.
I find it hard to believe.
Didn’t they find out that guy was a sex offender?
Truth. He’ll be back on the streets within five years.
Even I was stunned watching the media go into tears and meltdown over the verdict. Incredible.
Nope. In Texas, he is not even eligible for parole until he spends half his sentence (17.5 years) in prison.
Given the noterietay of the case, I would expect him to be denied on the first try.
If he’s a bad boy in prison (which, let’s face it; he will be) his sentence will get lengthened.
Yes the protestor was a sex offender.
The only thing that upsets reasonable people with a modicum of objectivity is that it was ONLY 35 years.
Karmelo should file an appeal based on his civil rights were violated because illegal aliens get preferential treatment when they get charged with the same crime.
This is a parody site but what is not a parody is the protestors. To these protestors, the rule is that a somewhat telegenic young black man cannot be convicted. He automatically is innocent, or should have a “get out of jail free” card because of who he is. I’m glad this happened in suburban Dallas where the police don’t “F” around. Convict the criminal. Give him a long sentence. Convict the protestors who get violent. Give them a long sentence too. Its refreshing to see it.
Now we find that the prosector is trying to back door the jury by requesting the judge reduce the severity of Karmelo's forthcoming sentencing because of "Sudden Passion".
In other words the prosecution has now come to the defense of the convicted murderer.
"Quivering Karmelo Anthony is convicted of murdering Austin Metcalf, 17...
but now prosecutors have granted him Hail Mary that could see him jailed for as little as TWO YEARS"
This particular article isn’t meant as humor, it’s meant as a commentary on how ridiculous people can be about something as obvious as a cold blooded murder.
The jurors did deliberate the “sudden passion” defense, but rejected it.
*** Jurors rejected a premise from the defense that the murder was committed under “sudden passion,” which could have allowed for a reduced sentence of less than 20 years.***

Karmelo...who we should start calling "Karmela" for his weak weepy behavior that will no doubt be noticed by his future prison "friends"...was quite deliberate in what he did. I wonder if he thought he might come out of this and be able to sue for some sort of discrimination or racial bias and get a big payday. Will he "Quiver" at the touch of his new buddies? No, I do not wish something like this on him or anyone else.
Thankfully he at least got 17.5 years for parole on a 35 year sentence. Deserved life.
