Virginia state Sen. Saddam Azlan Salim (D) is telling prosecutors who say they will not enforce his “assault weapons” ban to quit “tough guy posturing.”
On May 27, 2026, Breitbart News noted that at least three prosecutors in Virginia made clear they would not enforce the ban. By the next day, May 28, the number of prosecutors refusing to enforce the ban was at five, according to WTVR.
On May 29, 2026, Sen. Salim used an X post to address prosecutors who are standing against his ban, saying, “I know these Republican prosecutors see this as an opportunity for tough guy posturing and amateur constitutional lawyering, but ending the sale of assault weapons in Virginia isn’t something an individual prosecutor can do anything about.”

Te Virginia GOP:
Then they need to be destroyed and replaced from the ground up.
This is war, and the idiots on “our” side either don’t realize it or don’t care.
If we keep putting these damn foreigners in positions of authority, it’s going to end badly.
First the invaders, and then the traitors.
The modern U.S. Department of Education was officially created on October 17, 1979, when President Jimmy Carter signed the Department of Education Organization Act (Public Law 96-88) into law, with operations formally beginning on May 4, 1980.
That does indeed seem to be the turning point in Virginia's decline. Reagan kind of hid it because people's attention was diverted by Reagan becoming the president and believeing the tide was going to begin to be returned to normacy. We underestimated the hol that communists really had obtained in this nation. The school's deteriation wasn't really being noticed until the 1990s when some people started to recognize the rot. I remember telling friends that we need to tuen around the educational system in the 1990s, and them saying their schioils were perfectly marvelous, no problem there.
Brings, Frnk Zappa's - It Can't Happen Here, to mind and how insightful Frank Zappa really was, in its release in 1966, when revisited in hindsight. We were so asleep believing that it could never happen here.
That 's a very astute display of critical thinking skills you displayed with your response. Bravo 😁🤙
Thanks for the compliment. I wonder if someone astute in AI can corroborate my hypothesis.
LIEberal Democrats moved in!
AND, LIEberals not only LIE, THEY CHEAT during EVERY election cycle!
All the more reason to reqire that ALL elected officials be natural born Americans!
Those with critical thinking skills, can see that that allowing in people in large numbers who had no intentions of becoming integrated into ourt society, who were only interested in the economic opportunites that existed here, was the beginning of our institutions becomeing diluted and our hertiage was being pushed aside by the massive infflux, promoted by our leaders of both parties, with different goals.
On the Republican side that motive was to provide businesses with a cheaper workforce ignoring the damage that was creating, while the Demoncrat motivation was to increase their voter base. to regain powers that they were beginning to see were being eroded because they made promises that they never intended to deliver, and the people were beginning to see through their deceit.
Yet another foreigner telling us how to be Americans.
The only “Tough Guy” is this foreigner saying he is coming for your guns.
No foreign born person should ever be allowed to be elected to a legislature, governor, or congress, or the president.
I tend to agree. AI will continue to degrade people’s thought processes. That said if you use it to research something, it’s wise to confirm everything before basing an opinion on a subject. I’ve used Grok a couple of times and it was helpful in steering me towards a website with the information I was looking for.
Yes, ifit has valid information, it is a great tool. It’s when it doesn’t and people do not question what AI returns is the problem.
The Gov is providing a free AI class. I might sign up for it. Apparently it’s totally free.
