U.S. — In a move that even some within the entertainment industry are branding as "too far", director Christopher Nolan has cast actor Steve Buscemi as Helen of Troy.
Though Nolan has made several unorthodox casting decisions for his upcoming movie The Odyssey, none have raised as many eyebrows as casting Buscemi in the role of the most beautiful woman on the planet.
"Steve's is the face that launched a thousand ships," declared Nolan upon making the announcement. "I could never imagine anyone else playing Helen. The moment we started on the Odyssey, my first call was to Steve. I said, 'Steve, I need you to be my Helen'. I'll never forget his response, he said, 'What the heck are you talking about?' Classic Steve."

LOL! He’s going to sing, “He’s got the whole world in his hands.”
Hahahahahahaha!!!! Now THAT is funny!
There was a whole thread yesterday on this stupidity and wokeness in the casting decisions by Nolan, and I found it amusing (and a bit disconcerting) that at least one poster was battling the entire thread about their bashing this Nolan movie that none had yet seen, even going as far as to call objections (to casting a skinny, effeminate woman pretending to be a man in the role of Achilles) as “Nolan Derangement Syndrome”.
Well, I suppose The Babylon Bee could do something on that, too...”NDS”!
Andre the giant docudrama is coming this summer
Starring peter dinklage
I am a huge fan of Buscemi in his roles!
At least he’s white!.................
Who’s this Nolan dude? He sounds like a retard.
Buscemi’s role in Con Air as a mass murderer was awesome!

LOL
Not to be gross but the back of the bus had this pogo effect that made it no place for young men.
I have great respect for him. He was a NY City firefighter before becoming an actor and when 9/11 happened he went to work with the firefighters and didn’t want any pictures taken of him.

There's still time to turn this movie into a parody similar to Robin Hood: Men in Tights
I look forward to Frankie Muniz in the remake/homage of Malcolm X: Malcolm in the Middle
There is some guy using AI to cast Willem Dafoe as every single character in lots of movies.
Dafoe as every character in Game Of Thrones was pretty good.
Oddly, it works.
